Bought a package of each. I hope the grape flavor is that super artificial tasting grape flavoring. Why, you might ask? Well, you know how scents and flavors can strongly evoke associated memories? The aroma or taste of artificial grape flavoring instantly transports me back to 1973. I was a junior in high school, and I had a very pretty girlfriend who was a senior. And she always wore GRAPE lip gloss! No strong memories associated with lemon… I just like lemon!

Got my sugar noods today and although I liked the grape flavor, they were more sour than I would’ve preferred. Thought that would stop me after the first few strips, but a few minutes later the first bag was empty.
PSA: Don’t leave bags of sugar noods in the front seat of a car parked outside at high noon, unless your plan is to turn them into bags of sweet & sour lemon or grape soup.
@Kyeh I wouldn’t call them big unless you’re a lilliputian. They were more like mini icepacks after being in the freezer and were stuck to the inside of the bag like superglue. The lemon looked like Yaphit after thawing, but still tasted fine, though it could’ve used a sprinkle more of sugar. That might be what I do with the next bags, so much for 170 calories per serving.
@werehatrack I do like the reusable bag idea… But I’m a fat American and have gone through three packages in a day. (One after breakfast, one before lunch, one during lunch… Oh boy.)
I actually do like the tiny bags though. I can throw out my grease towels much more easily. To elaborate:
I go through a lot of snack bags, some resealable; I save them for smelly garbage that I don’t want to linger in my kitchen, but am too lazy to put out in the outdoor trash bin. Stuff like styrofoam that used to hold beef, tuna pouches I don’t want to wash, non-compostable post-consumed waste, and paper towels I cleaned blood or fat or cooking grease (because I want to reduce the grease that goes into my pipes).
Don’t know if my pallette is jacked or what, but the grape is barely edible; strong aftertaste of rubbing alcohol. The lemon seems to be fine. It doesn’t have that artificial grape flavor (which I’m thankful for) but the aftertaste is the weirdest thing. Maybe it is already on its way to being wine?

It doesn’t have that artificial grape flavor (which I’m thankful for) but the aftertaste is the weirdest thing. Maybe it is already on its way to being wine?
