@Bluedragon07 Wish I could tell ya – we forgot to take a pic of the nutrition facts and they aren’t on the manufacturer’s page either. They are likely similar to Cheetos (160cal per oz, 370 per bag)
Oh I think they go away be on junk food, but soda most new things coming out these days that end up here. They actually do sort of sound interesting but I am actually trying not to eat garbage. I don’t always succeed but if I buy something like this there’s more garbage to eat so sorry Troy

FYI: Definition of Nixtamalized
Nixtamalized refers to corn (maize) that has undergone a specific preparation process. This involves soaking and cooking the corn in an alkaline solution, typically made with lime (calcium hydroxide) and water. After cooking, the corn is rinsed to remove the outer hull, resulting in a product known as nixtamal.
Benefits of Nixtamalization
Nutritional Improvements
Increased Nutritional Value: Nixtamalization enhances the bioavailability of nutrients, particularly niacin (Vitamin B3), which helps prevent deficiencies like pellagra.
Reduction of Mycotoxins: The process significantly reduces harmful mycotoxins, such as aflatoxins, by up to 97-100%.
Functional Enhancements
Improved Texture: Nixtamalized corn can be easily ground into masa, a dough used for making tortillas and tamales.
Flavor and Aroma: The process enhances the flavor and aroma of the corn, making it more palatable.
Historical Context
Nixtamalization has been practiced for thousands of years, originating in Mesoamerica. It is a crucial step in traditional and modern food production, particularly in Mexican cuisine, where it is used to create various dishes like tortillas, tamales, and pozole.

/showme /very interesting, but not funny
@Bluedragon07 @troy There probably is no nutritional value - but lots of calories. It’s junk food. That is what they all have in common.
@Bluedragon07 Anyone who eats junk food does not worry about calories.
@Bluedragon07 @troy
Do you know how much sugar is in a serving?

@troy Thanks!
/showme a pig with a butt made of corn
no nutrition info. no buy.
@wolfbiker Nutrition uploaded. You buy?
Hands off, those mine, those nachos.
Artree cloggers, are too mine.
I can’t find a nutrition label anywhere on the webs even. How does a food manufacturer post their stuff w/o a label?
the corn that they use to make the chicharrones is a special variety that is shaped like a pig. this variety of corn is as smart as a dog, and can also feel pain.
RED NO.40, YELLOW NO.5 AND 6.
Not enough colors for me!!
@icerc but it adds up to 51
@icerc @pmarin that’s a hard fail since 42 is the answer
Why do Specs say fuego but that’s not on the what’s included
Can’t assume their gluten free either
Look up the Los carnales website, it’s really tragic what happened to the brothers….
They lost their distributor.
Hey folks - we’re working on getting the nutrition label info out soon.
no thanks, im already fat
Kudos that they’re available in Georgia Red (dye #40)!
Mmmmm… MSG in several of them. That’s what makes Cheetos extra tasty.
@caffeineguy in lots of things, common in lots of snacks… you can get a megadose of MSG by eating Chick-Fil-A chicken.
Half price? Meh. I’d be in on the Fuego for $10.
@richrauch Martie is already a discounted food store – they’ve got the same best-by dates as ours. Retail is $1.16/oz and they’re 40% off at $0.70/oz.
We’re priced at $0.33 per oz. For other puffs at Walmart, you have $0.51/oz for Great Value, $0.84/oz for Chester’s, and $0.99/oz for Vlasic

Anyone know if these are gluten free?
@An_Onion There are ingredient lists posted above & on the sales page now.
Just got mine, bought 2 varieties. So far only tried the Fuego and they taste very stale.
I purchased the Nacho ones. Horrible taste!
