Picked a pair of these up at Costco years ago and I’ve gotta say, they sound way better than they deserve to.
The magnets on the back will need to get Krazy Glued back in at some point. Also they need to be paired to Bluetooth as a duo first before using them solo or you’ll struggle with reconnecting. Adequate battery life—shorter if you have them cranked and are using full brightness on the lights.
Rugged, bright, and loud with a fantastically wide dynamic range.
My gadget side really wants these, but my practical side points out I have no use for them. Maybe as a gift, but that means I need friends. I’ll sleep on it.
@gominosensei Purportedly the feature where the speaker duo can play stereo sound is Android-only.
That said, most use cases for this are ones where the sound could be of potato quality and still suffice. This speaks ‘garage’ or ‘job site’ for places where disposable-cost speakers and work lights both are useful.
I bought these from Costco years ago. I think I made my wife buy them for me for Christmas.
They are great. I have never used stereo, though. I use one speaker, and it lasts a long time with just the speaker. Using the light makes the battery lose power faster.
One tip: Try to put them back, together, in the same spot. I "lost’ one of them. Can’t find it right now, though I’m sure it’s…somewhere.
@charlesallen92 It’s the same button you use to turn it on, but you have to hold it a long time. It’ll make a (quite loud, somewhat obnoxious) “wooshing” sound and turn off.
I do use the lights, but I mainly use the speaker, because I use headlamps. So, I hope the lights work well.
Hey - these things are pretty cool. Hefty - in a good way. Sound quality is decent. I’m thinking it’s more a 2-pack than a stereo system (tho’ I do have Android, and that works). These are definitely good for the car - great flashlight, safety red flash function, and magnetic base. Thanks, Meh!

Is the light blue?
@yakkoTDI- Yes, you can put them on your auto & pretend [illegally] that you’re a police man, or woman!!

@elliedan One more thing…
I only use iPhones and stereo worked fine for me.
@ellieda-what about using Alien Tape, instead Crazy Glue!!
You mean they’re not internet routers? Oh wait… that’s Xfinity. Never mind.
There’s a steal of a wine deal over on casemates this weekend… Thought y’all’d like to know.
Since we’re all, ‘Friends’
I’ve waited years for Bluetooth speakers that complement the aesthetics of my Aura Interactor. They’re finally here!
@Rowsdower Thanks, I was going crazy trying to think of what these reminded me of.

Micro USB or USB-C?
@fgmart Amazon AI says USB-C.
@raynich confirmed with the manual

@fgmart-They would come in handy when your lights go out in a storm situation!!
@1DisabledWarVet yes good thinking! That happens a lot where I live
I’m a sucker for wacky yet practical electronic combinations.

@PooltoyWolf Why didn’t the showme command work?
@PooltoyWolf The bot is drunk?
@yakkoTDI Perhaps!!
How is a Bluetooth speaker not Mac compatible?

Dang it! I just bought these 2 days ago for $25.

@ctviggen my set arrived today. Sounds really nice and very bright light. Question though, how do you turn them off?

I checked out reviews on these & they were great, 5 Stars, so i’m gonna buy these!!
