Adjustable Straps for Convenient Carrying. No pockets? No problem. Use the adjustable straps to keep your phone on you at the beach, on a hike, or by the pool.
This phone case is safe for use at the beach, pool, lake or river. Never worry about splashes, sand, dirt or dust getting your gear wet again!

2x Statik 10L MarCase by Noah Flagel Waterproof Bags
@hchavers Looks like a standard “dry bag” often used by kayakers and rafters. Multiple folds form a watertight (You hope) seal and get locked in place by the latches. The images don’t show that very well so I’m a bit confused too.
@djslack@hchavers the phone part confused things. It’s nice to have that too, but if you phone needs a 10 liter bag it must be one of those “brick” phones from the 1980s.
I should buy my father this, he loves to swim and would buy waterproof and water-resistant items so he can have his essentials (like his glasses) on him at all times.
@brennyn@cinoclav@troy it’s still showing in the specs:

@Echenanci@troy I think the “this phone case” part is the tricky part. Most of the specs in the specs post do seem to read like they’re taking about a phone case. It’s also kind of their fault for naming it MarCase.
But technically, anything bigger than a phone can be a phone case. I could say my phone case has 281 horsepower and I have to pay insurance on it every month.
I’ve bought anti-static bags before, but never statik bags. If I accidentally fill this with anti-static bags will it still be waterproof? Would I risk causing a singularity?

Interesting that Noah has a water proof bag.
@yakkoTDI apparently 2 of them, to fit the Noah guidelines. Unclear on if or how they could multiply.
@pmarin @yakkoTDI Let alone be fruitful.
Not gonna need these after “AI” drains out all the water.
@DrunkCat But until then you need these. Just like you need to win them back.
Okay, it won’t MAKE a margarita, but will it HOLD a margarita? Two 10-litre margarita bags for $18 may not be a bad deal
I watched the video a number of times (from 20 sec to 30 sec) and just don’t get how the bag works.

@hchavers The simplest explanation is that it doesn’t work.
@hchavers watch a few more times, it’s hard to see but nice to try to figure out.
Not knowing they also were advertising a phone bag on first watch, that part was a little confusing.
@hchavers Same here. I’ve even paused it multiple times.

The description above is clearly a mash up of their phone case and the 10 L bag. Might want to fix that.
@cinoclav Until I saw the part about fitting phones up to 7" I was excited that I’d finally found a way to carry my 9 liter phone with me.
@brennyn @cinoclav It’s fixed. Thanks

@Echenanci This is an accurate spec – this bag has adjustable straps and is meant to carry your phone among other things

Nice of them to put the credit card slot on the outside. Keeps thieves from having to rifle through the bag.
Description says 10 L but the given dimensions in the details would be about 1.5 L. Which bag is it?
@jakmccuaig The dimensions previously were for the 2L bags. These 10L bags are closer to 18" x 12".

Will come in handy for beach excursions on cruises.
I thought Statik sold cell phone charging cables! Heh.

/youtube no statik
@phendrick But, if you’re not a headbanger,
wash your ears out with this
/youtube steely dan, no static
Looks very uncomfortable, backpack with bathing suit.
