Re: the writeup, what airport are you flying out of that allows you to fill an open container and then take said open container (greater than 3 ounces in size) onto the plane?
@PooltoyWolf FYI, you can also fill a bottle with ice and get through security, and then fill it the rest of the way at a water fountain once you’re through
The writeup mentions putting fizzy beverages in BUT I don’t trust any mugs/cups like this that don’t have a screw-on lid. Carbonation can create enough pressure to pop the lid right off these things. Oh, and of course, you can’t drop them/toss them in a bag without leaks or full on lid failure.
So, more for walking around and sitting at a desk than anything else.
@TrinSF
The main reason I don’t use this style tumbler is because of the usual leaks around the straw. In reality if the pressure increased that much inside the cup from the carbonation it would push the liquid out the top of the straw rather than the lid off the top of the tumbler.

@PooltoyWolf, once you pass the TSA checkpoint… all of them.
@haydesigner I suppose that’s fair.

@pawprints @PooltoyWolf “Do you have any liquids?” “Not yet.”
@DonWhiteside @pawprints That sounds more like a “life hack” than an approved procedure.
@DonWhiteside @pawprints @PooltoyWolf No, @chienfou has said he does it all the time! And he travels A LOT.
@DonWhiteside @pawprints @PooltoyWolf Not when the TSA actually tells you this.
Too late.
The sad part, @stinks, is it can get even worse.
Really, really worse.
“AI” Garbage.
@DrunkCat So. Much. Creativity.
/showme a Drunk cat hitting its head against a wall, over and over again
Beautiful and awesome, @mediocrebot
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!
@mediocrebot This needs to be a gif. When will the /showmegif markdown be implemented?
@yakkoTDI @yakkoTDI lol okay mr. “incorrect fact”. bot some more
What’s with the cringey TikTok AI voiceover and stripper sax music in the videos?
@pixelated I know… it’s horrible. But also the only video I could find
@pixelated @troy The AI voice over was bad but that stripper sax was rockin’!
@troy @yakkoTDI
What we need is more tumblers! If you have ever been to Dicks Sporting Goods, you would understand.
Looks top heavy
@user56039068 aren’t we all
@pixelated Yes but when I drop on the carpet, I usually don’t leak fluids and cause stains.
@user56039068 Some do. Some leave bloodstains.
@user56039068
Wait a few years…
Is the lid a standard large mouth?
