@AaronLeeJohnson Nope. This is just a huge zippered case for a King comforter and a pair of purely decorative pillow-concealing fancy fabric pillow covers that are supposed to make interior decorators approve of your taste (or find it horrendous, you’ll never be able to predict what they will think anyway, so don’t bother.)
This feels like it would apply to a very small market. I actually do have a king sized down comforter, but of course I also already have some duvet covers. The price is cheap enough to get another, I suppose, but the product itself is not so compelling that I feel any need to do so.
@werehatrack I’m using what I think was originally a duvet cover as a weighted blanket cover. It’s not the perfect size, but close enough to be worth it. So they could be used for other things.
But I’m struggling to think up a legitimate non-duvet use for a king size cover….
We need some regulation or something around the word ‘breathable’. If there’s polyester bedding out there that won’t function as a personal sauna regardless of the weather, I haven’t encountered it.
@Aspirant_Fool polyester is VERY variable. As is microfiber. We’re 100% bamboo for anything bedding now. Once upon a time we were 100% cotton.
That was until bought some microfiber sheets by accident that were so darn comfortable. My wife was pregnant at the time and had hard time sleeping, sweating etc. she loved those sheets. Anyhow, we’ve tried microfiber several times since then with very mixed results, but none as good as the original “mistake” and most were bad.
Finally switched to bamboo and now wouldn’t go back to anything else.
@Larry1977 I know the words are quite distinct, yet I, too, still have them linked in my head. I have to consciously think about it the first time “duvet” appears in a conversation.

What? From the same people who bought W00t?
@amillar7 Agreed. Very disconcerting.
My god, what a waste of time.
One size fits all? Just a big sack of cloth on my queen size bed? Dang. Where are the options?
@einrad It’s listed as King only
@einrad One size fits all, as long as they’re all Kings.
Duvet, Comforters. Those are not the blankets or the bedsheets?

How did memory foam hurt you, copy writer?
Kansas, Colorado & Utah seem to be in the house. Anyone want to explain why?
@gertiestn People there still think interior decorators are a good idea? No, wait, that would never happen in Kansas.

Just in time for summer…

@werehatrack @xobzoo A legit use might be to bag up your kids and zip them inside to get them out of your way when school is out.

@Aspirant_Fool @OnionSoup Some is “breathable” which is why some companies advertise that their fleece jackets are windproof as many/some are not.
So the writeup calls them pillowcases but the deets up top say they’re shams. Which is it? Shams or pillowcases (sham shams)?
@werehatrack Perhaps the entire deal is a sham?
@werehatrack A sham by any other name is a pillow case.
Am I the only one who sometimes confuses a duvet and a bidet?

In other words, you’re not alone.
@Larry1977 Public pools are just wet busses.
You lost me at ‘microfiber’.
Thank you, but no. I prefer to leave my duvet uncovered (best way to get it suntanned).
