This’ll probably run smoother and faster than my 20+ yo truck, though I doubt it has the same carrying capacity.
And I don’t have the time to work on both.
Pretty Cool but few kids today (Grandkids) are into things like this. If it ain’t electronic, digital, online or a video game it’s of little interest.
I’ll save my $15 for the next Big Kid Toy
the movie reference is from the classic film Stand By Me, particularly the scene where the kids finally find the dead body, and begin playing with it like it’s a toy car, going “vroom, vroom” while pushing it around the lakeside.

Dammit. Want. Just because. Can’t justify.
@werehatrack same here! For me it is a Cash flow issue, way too much flowing out. Plus not electric!
@werehatrack Yup, can’t ju$tify either. They should show alternate builds of the parts to ignite our mechanical minds.
Same, so maybe I’ll send 2 of them to the grandchildren in Colorado, who probably won’t want it, but it might satisfy my need to buy it, ya think?
@jmrobinett I have a step-grandkid that I have decided to use as an excuse to acquire one, though he’s a bit young for it at the moment.
@jmrobinett @werehatrack Egg-salad! You will need to pre-build it to make sure it is safe,
.
This would look great on the top shelf of my closet with the model cars and other things I’ve bought that I’ll do “when I have some extra time”
Pretty cool actually…still pressed meh

@omally You are channeling the truthy truth. I never saw it in theaters. When I saw it on TV they had cut that scene to fit in more commercials.
They still make these? I remember seeing an unfinished kit of this as a boy and have never seen one on a shelf ever since.
