Both the egg separator and measurements (why aren’t they on all three???) could be super handy, but I already have a set of 3 stainless steel ones, and very little kitchen storage.
@haydesigner So once I lose that plug on the egg separator slot (and I know I will), where is a replacement available?
Else I’ll have a very leaky (cereal?) bowl.
These bowls are going for $18 on Amazon and $20 on QVC. For metric users, the volumes of the bowls are 2.8 L, 1.9 L, and 0.8 L. For comparison, my medium Pampered Chef mixing bowl is 4 L. Thus, these are pretty small mixing bowls.
@Michaelforman These are $18 from Amazon and sold by us – we can’t link to ourselves as a comp. We also can’t link to QVC (but they are sold out anyways)
@Michaelforman@werehatrack I have discovered the wonders of mixing fluids (like scrambled eggs/ quiche/ creamed soup) in a re-used glass sauce jar.
-You don’t care what happens to it
-It’s a fine size for smaller servings
-The bottled neck cuts down on mess
Anyway, I managed to avoid temptation. Probably due to plenniful sauce jars.
@Kyeh I’ve taken to using a spinny-wire milk frother in a large tumbler. I also use it to make hot cocoa; it’s far faster and more effective than stirring with a spoon.

Time for some weekend bowling!!
I don’t need these or have the space for them, but they look pretty good
@dpease Same here.

Regular mixing bowls, with no attached Bluetooth speaker or power bank? No past date odd food or drink item? No dubious health supplements?
What the hell are these doing on meh?
My bad! I missed the built-in egg separator.
@ciabelle Ah, but the separator is gasp!
ANALOG!!!
@ciabelle You forgot to mention there’s also no knife of any sort included…
@ciabelle @robson We’re always getting cheated on these items.
These are 12, 8, and 3 1/2 cup capacity, according to QVC.
Fascinating lack of specs.
“Small, medium, and large” (compared to what?)
If it helps, measurement markings seem to show the medium is about 8 cups. I’d say that’s a reasonable medium = 2 quarts or 1/2 gallon.
Ain’t got NO need for em… Ain’t got NO space for em… But I got $13 smoldering in my pocket!! So I gotta click the BUY button before it ignites!!
Meh!
Large is 12 cups, medium is 8 cups, and small is 3 1/2.
The spokesperson in the video is impressively dedicated to the bit.
@stinks That’s Ms. Carla herself!
@stinks Carla from Top Chef!

@Michaelforman Small, straight-sided bowls have certain specific uses for me, and my prior ones seem to have evaporated. I guess I’ll get a set.

@Michaelforman @werehatrack
@brainmist That’s a great idea! I’m going to try that for eggs, much neater than a bowl & fork.

@werehatrack But then you still have 2 things to wash vs 1 with the bottle or jar.
@Kyeh @werehatrack I usually use a mixer with one whisk, so already there. But frothy eggs make for better quiche imho. (Might be power of suggestion?)
I should try the frother… I wonder if that’s more or less mess?
“AI” is garbage and Trump is finally dead.
@DrunkCat don’t get my hopes up
Got in mehrathon. These bowls are nice and solid and work as bowls.
@OnionSoup got my set today… and are nicer and solider than i expected even with you saying so.
i’m pleased that i now have 3 more bowls with which to bowl.
I’m just bowled over! I can’t tell you have many times I’ve needed to separate egg whites from yolks in the past 40 years. Oh wait! I can-- TWICE.
@MrNews Egg whites are used in some cocktails but I just hold the cracked egg over the glass and slide the yolk between the two halves a few times.
@brennyn Exactly. I think I used 'em for merengue on a Key Lime pie about 25 years ago…
Sorry to see sage is sold out.
@edsa They apparently are still available (maybe just to vmp?) and I was quite tempted by sage.
Ah well, for the best.
There are FOUR BOWLS in the final picture!!! (someone more motivated than I should insert an obligatory meme with Picard shouting…)
@searcher i’m confused by hitler-pope
Multiple images of today’s offering, but not a single nest.

@macromeh image #4?
I don’t need these, but wife does whether see knows it or not. Just don’t tell her I said that.

Why wasn’t the size listed? That drives me crazy when I have to look everywhere for the damn dimensions
