It requires electricity ignite the gas and to run the fan- which is what differentiates it from the straight-up convection models, and [I think] also increases the square footage its rated for.

Silent but deadly hot?
First, I didn’t even know that torpedoes had to be kept warm.
Second, I’ll have to check my basement, but I think I’m fresh out of torpedoes.
If it is a gas unit using propane, why is there an electric power plug and a spec reference to 120VAC?

What size LP-gas tank does this require for use?
A lot of the ones I have looked at previously required 100# tank, and were not compatible with the smaller, and most common 20# ones.
