Attention humans who are owned by cats: H5N1 found in a brand of frozen cat food. This virus kills cats.

FDA Notifies Pet Owners That Tests Show H5N1 Contamination in Certain Lots of RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats (however so far no humans have been affected by handling the cat food).

Cats are especially vulnerable to this virus. The cat that got sick and initiated this investigation had to be euthanized.
