Was this miniaturized hydroelectric power station by any chance designed by Thomas Edison?

I remodeled two bathrooms in 2009. I got really nice, all metal shower fixtures for both bathrooms. I haven’t had to fix or think about them since.
I’m happy to pay extra for a real solid item that lasts.
