…and I buzz mine to 1/4" because I hate it when it’s much, if any longer.
My hair is wavy/curly and almost has a mind of its own. It has gotten a bit less unruly since it went gray/white, but it’s still quite a PITA.
@OnionSoup
Or sunscreen…
It’s no joke- my boss who only lived in Az for a few years, but is/was bald and spent a lot of time outdoors, has been fighting skin cancer on his scalp for almost 4 years- as lesions are treated, new ones develop.
@PhysAssist@accelerator yeah, and it’s easy for me to forget, I have a fairly small bald patch, but it’s big enough to get sun occasionally… So I do try to wear hat when I can. I can’t when going to work because it messes my hair, and now my parents moved into town (and they’re very old-school thinking it’s rude to wear hats indoors, so I don’t wear hats if I know will see them, as don’t want to offend them and don’t want to have hat head Everytime I go into a building if I can’t keep it on.
I don’t look good with a buzz cut, which would solve the hat head issue, I tried it, and I just look bad like that.
I’m not gonna use rogaine or that kind of stuff bc once you stop using it all the hair you grew falls out. As a female having hair is very important to me, it’s my crown and I take care of my hair.
Meh.
I just shave my head due to hair loss.

As I tell my barber - “Whatever - It either grows back or falls out. Much more the latter than the former these days…”
I’m doing what I can to stop or reverse it, but since I have very fine hair, it’s hard to tell how that’s going.
@werehatrack But you get it all back at every full moon, no?
Hair today , Dome tomorrow !!

@IndifferentDude
I remember dressing as the Coneheads for a Halloween party years ago. That was a blast.
My son asked my wife one day, “Mommy, why is daddy going bald?”
“It’s because he thinks a lot sweetheart.”
Little Bear stared at her for a minute and then asked:
“Is that why you have a lot of hair?”
Gotta love that child.
I mean… If I had a magic button I could press and all my hair would be back to how it was when I was 25. I’d press the button.
But if I have to sink time, money and effort into it… Meh, I’ll just wear a hat when I’m in the sun to not get sunburned.

@OnionSoup Always wear a hat outside!

@OnionSoup My hair is thinning some, but I have significantly more hair than my dad did at the same age - so I call that a win.
