4C Energy Rush. Those who despise sucralose will decry it. I find that it’s the least obnoxious and one of the cheapest artificially colored and flavored caffeinated single-serving beverage mixes available. You do you; if you think this is vile, that’s more for me.
@werehatrack hey, I just happened upon this article earlier today that I think you might find useful. It’s about negating the harmful effects of sucralose (which I don’t think is the worst thing in the world, but I’ve switched to stevia): https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2025/09/250906013455.htm
@nobile it has been shown that about 10% of people aren’t really affected by caffeine. That’s why some can drink it late at night and not really be affected.
@haydesigner@nobile@yakkoTDI same! Doesn’t seem to affect me unless I have a LOT of it (like 500 mg or so), then I just get jittery but still able to fall asleep no problem.
@haydesigner@TimW@yakkoTDI that’s exactly what happens to me. If I drink multiple energy drinks I get restless legs and mild tachycardia, but still end up falling asleep (crashing out, if it was a sugary drink) an hour later.
Viter Energy mints for me. Each one has 40mg of caffeine; two is evidently equivalent to a cup of coffee. I usually take one in the morning, and sometimes one in the early afternoon.
I split a Monster sugar free with my better half while waiting for the coffee to brew. Then coffee at work during the morning. If I need a bigger boost, I have more Monsters stashed at work and caffeine gum, too.
I like those little awake chocolates but I always forget I have them stashed away. Coffee can sometimes give me the jitters later in the day if I don’t eat.
I’m a coffertunist - I’ll take my caffeine pretty much any way available so long as it’s cheap and ready to go.
absolute favorite past method was Hansen Energy drinks. bought them by the case from Costco. great taste, natural sugar, bit of juice (maybe?) less headache-inducing b vitamins. don’t know how they did it, but it worked really well with minimal crash. and then they stopped making it and I’ve been looking for anything comparable ever since.

Once, MANY years ago someone offered to sell me some speed at work (RVP). I declined so she said she knew she could beat my current supplier’s price. I told her “I don’t do speed” and her response was classic:
“Holy shit… you’re like this all the time?? Wanna buy some downers?”
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@chienfou I remember that story. Quite the enterprising young drug dealer, eh?
Restaurant culture is crazy. When I waitressed, a manager we had passed out speed to anyone who wanted it on super busy weekend nights. I loved it, but read or heard somewhere that speed works not by adding anything but by unlocking your reserves from your bone marrow or something. Not sure if that’s true (you can probably tell me) but it totally discouraged me from taking it; also I once took it to cram for a test and then passed out & slept like the dead on the couch for the rest of the day. It seemed risky.
i have a can of Ciclon along with breakfast every morning.
(Ciclon is a Red Bull clone made by a company in Puerto Rico. they do 4 different flavors - one which tastes p much like OG Red Bull, the other three are fruit-based. They all taste pretty good. Cheap too, they retail for $1.25 per can!)
@visioneer_one OG Red Bull is vile in my opinion, and I suspect that Ciclon’s other three flavors probably outsell the clone. (If I ever get to PR again, I’ll try to remember to grab some.)
Just for grins, I’m going to guess that the three fruit flavors are guava, mango, and piña. Did I get any right?
I like my energy boots to fit snuggly to keep my feet…oh wait. You said boosts.
It was Nitro Pepsi. Now, either Mountain Dew Baja Blast or, occasionally, coffee. With LOTS of cream and sugar.

Monster the one’s with juice in them. Nothing sugar free tho, artificial sweeteners make my throat itchy.

Clearly more people need to get their 8 hours of sleep a night.
/showme how I feel after getting a full 8 hours of sleep
I shave my head, @mediocrebot…
@haydesigner The bot’s spelling has improved! It’s odd how it keeps chopping off the top of the text though.
Caffeine unfortunately doesn’t really energise me or even keeps me awake

Run or resistance training at 0600.
I’m not a Red Bull drinker, but I could use some of that Max Verstappen F1 racecar driver energy!
Caffeine pills. No doz
@honeybeehives3 Revive with Vivarin!

Why wasn’t Adderall on the survey as an answer?

Can’t do energy drinks. It fucks with my heart rhythm. Ablation corrcected it years ago but not gonna risk it.
@chienfou Not coffee, even?
@Kyeh
I can do coffee tho I generally do half caff
@chienfou I guess you’re just naturally caffeinated!

lol no
the flavors are “original” (their redbull clone), cranberry, blood orange (basically grapefruit) and “berry strong”
