I must have done a Rip Van Winkle and it's April 1st today...
5… because these items on SideDeal couldn’t possibly be real.
Tech Theory Phone And Food Universal Car Mount
This unlikely combination is confusing. The driver has to reach over and behind the phone to get to food that is hidden from view. But such convenience to have not one, but two, condiment holders that can’t hold the typical rectangular containers of dipping sauces, meaning that you have to pour/scoop the sauce into the holder’s undoubtedly dirty cups. Then you have to bring the whole contraption into your house when you get home to wash it out. Who thinks of such genius ideas for traveling?
Tech Theory Cup Holder Car Phone Mount & Adjustable Tray
Wow! This was just what I needed for road trips… if I wanted a smorgasbord of fast food and sticky soda in my lap, on the vacant passenger seat, or in every nook and cranny of the center console after I made one not-so-smooth turn or arrived at 65 mph at the bump identified by the highway “Bump” sign. I’m so glad I bought that 32-ounce Cherry Coke for the long drive! Geniusx2 for thinking a tray would work in a moving car.

I can see why the phone and food mount didn’t sell well. Who would want a phone blocking access to the fries?
@yakkoTDI So many reasons…
@yakkoTDI But I was tempted by both of them
since I never use my phone for navigation.
What was that thing sold at Meh/SD/MS last year that was essentially a cushion with holes (to hold drinks, etc)
They were basically this thing:

Except they showed up on SideDeal, were mocked; then on Meh and the photoshop image took one of the snide remarks and made it a reality (this is just a cushion with holes! holes that I could fit a drumstick in!)
@pakopako As I recall there were several people here who thought they were a great idea. I can see that, but it requires storage space when not in use.
@ItalianScallion Did they really, or did they forget the </s> tag?
Seriously, the image included the joke on sticking a fried drumstick in one of the gaps (and it fit)
