I survived WorldCon
1And I didn’t even bring home a shirt. Don’t wear t-shirts anymore. They’re all way too high necked and they make the uncomfortable. Tank tops cool, scoop necks cool, but Classic t-shirts are a flat out note. Orange County California was humid. And hot. And therefore miserable. It wasn’t Florida humidity but for California it was pretty bad. So what did I miss. Here?
There I missed the Star Trek panels. Works through the first one and ended up doing something else during the second one and screwing the third one. I wanted to see Bjo, it’s been many years but I didn’t manage. I did wonder if the dealership a few times. Bought some stuff. Including a book of Arabic science fiction that I hopefully will be able to read. Typeface and books has not been working well with my eyes lately. Wandered through the art showroom twice. Only saw one thing that really called to me, and the minimum bid was $1,000 and it already had two bids on it. So the answer to that one was no you’re not coming home with me. Otherwise it was copacetic.
Next year is in montreal. So if Canada is your jam I really suggest you go. Year after that is now Brisbane. My guess is 2029 will be Dublin

Sounds like you had a blast
Post some pics if you can. I’ve always wanted to get to a con.
@capnjb I didn’t take a single one. That’s never been my jam.
