@speediedelivery We have a few camping hammocks. The getting in and getting out is not the best part, but once settled, exhaling and just listening to the woods is pretty therapeutic. For what ever ails you
@capnjb My niece did the complete rollover trying to get in at 6 months pregnant. Poor quality video to memorize it. She and nephew were both fine but some panic involved.

BTDT! Set mine up on the beach in Martinique one time and promptly sat on it and flipped over backwards. Jumped up off the sand, looked around to see how many people had noticed. Felt pretty stupid.
But yes, once you’re in, it is amazingly therapeutic, especially with a drink in hand.
@capnjb@chienfou@speediedelivery it happens to everyone. The Englishman flipped out of one that very day sans a drink thankfully. They really are the most comfortable thing once you’re in. I try to have a little hammock time every evening. I fell asleep in the afternoon sun yesterday after working in the garden.
@capnjb@chienfou@sillyheathen@speedydelivery I have found that I have better hammock naps with a blanket under me (over is optional depending on the weather.). In all but the warmest weather, even a little breeze gets too chilly on the backside.
@capnjb@chienfou@macromeh yes! The underquilt is ace! I’ve been keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll have the wise owl? in a mehrathon at some point. I have the rain flys and the bug nets. Now I just need the bottom bit.
@capnjb@chienfou@sillyheathen Yep, I also have the rain fly and netting, but find I rarely use them (fair weather hammock napper ). I just use a fuzzy blanket under me (or optionally around me), but it is a PITA to get it in position (because I have to adjust it AFTER I get in the hammock). Something that actually attached to the hammock would be nice.
A hat and a hammock?
That looks wonderfully relaxing
Sooooo jealous
I would probably kill myself trying to get a hammock though

Thanks for the reminder - time to set up my hammock in the woods and catch some quality relaxation time!
