I got this last time around and it’s a decent entry level truck for younger kids. Slower than my ARRMA big rock, which for kids is a good thing. Needed fiber/drywall tape and better shock fluid but combined it was $15 for a lot more durability. Batteries were ok as well. If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to a traxaas or ARRMA truck, then this is a decent try at 1/3 to 1/4 of the cost.
Do you see a difference between this and the name brands? Of course you do but if you want to get in the hobby, this is much better than dropping $400 on an entry level LIPO truck.
@seraphimcaduto Thanks for that. I have long wanted to get into some part of RC, but so far I have restricted myself to just a decent photo/video drone. I might try a rock crawler someday, after I ditch the accumulated debris of way too many other things.
Flat tire!
What do you mean Flat tire? These don’t get Flat tire.
I mean, I’m Flat tire of seeing these types of diminutive ant carriers on here as the Daily Deal.
I mean, you can’t wear them, can’t eat them, can’t cook with them, can’t drink water from them, can’t stick them in your ears, …
@phendrick And they make terrible margaritas, they aren’t useful for whittling, they won’t charge your phone or light something up, they aren’t cotton, and they won’t keep four six-packs cold for several hours.

Like the happy little splashes sign. The AI is getting too good.
Also. R.I.P. Bob Ross. I didn’t realize he passed away many years ago. But his happy little paintings inspired so many people, and will foster internet memes for years to come.

Maybe a quick, short video will help move this mini monster truck!

By the way, I’m enjoying the retro meh faces. They actually give me a feeling that some thought went into them.
Kudos.
@tweezak Agreed!
@tweezak they’re much nicer than the AI ones.
@tweezak Agreed! The AI slop has been somewhere between disheartening and inscrutable for some time now.
@tweezak Seconded, thirded, fourthed…
Vroom Vroom!
