@Kyeh Me too! I saw a beautiful dresser in Home Goods that had gingko drawer handles and just had to have them on my dresser at home too. Found the perfect ones on Amazon. After 10PM, of course.
I think I was 16 or 17 so this would have been like 25-26 years ago. It was from one of those late night infomercials. I think it was called Nads (apperantly it’s still a product). It was some gel that was 100% natural (they said you could even eat it), to wax your legs with. It didn’t work very well from what I remember.
@Star2236 I remember those infomercials. My roommate and I laughed at the name. I guess Nads has a different meaning down under. If I remember correctly it was named after the inventors daughter.
@Star2236@yakkoTDI yeah they typically say bollocks or knackers as far as I know. If I remember correctly, Nads was the daughter’s nickname. Which of course we find hilarious. Though if you go to the UK or Australia etc and your name is Fanny…. They’re going to laugh equally as hard.
@sillyheathen@yakkoTDI
I was going to say something about the name bc I remember my friends teasing me that I bought Nads but I wondered if it was just me.
@sillyheathen@Star2236@yakkoTDI My older sister was a teen when the family moved from US to New Zealand. There, she picked up the slang “Shag your fanny”, innocently thinking it meant something like “Move your butt” and continued to use that way into adulthood. She was quite embarrassed years later when I explained the actual meaning to her.
@blaineg@sillyheathen@Star2236@yakkoTDI Well in my defense, I was 15 years younger than her so it took me a while to catch up and learn the real meaning myself.
Catshirts.
@narfcake Only after 10PM?
@Kyeh Woot’s change over is 10PM in my time zone. It means I must have missed the end of a sale.
Gingko leaf shape brass drawer handles
@heartny Oh, those sound great to me! I love gingko leaves.

@heartny Doesn’t sound dumb at all!
eBay wins that one
@pakopako say more! (was it a vintage bobblehead? we bet it was a vintage bobble head.)
The last IRK!
@fjp999 well sure
I bought the whole set of these tissue box holders on Instagram one night. I don’t regret it! But they ARE dumb.
@Kyeh Those are pretty cool.
@yakkoTDI
Thanks! They make me laugh.
They’re not really the best for tissues - it’s hard to get them out without tearing them. So they’re just decor.
@Kyeh
They’re so cute.
@Kyeh adorable

A book that I like the art on the front and know nothing about the story.
2 nights ago. Ebay.
Many years ago… Beer goggles while out drinking with friends.
@chienfou did they come with the beer or did you actually purchase some gimmicky ones in a shop?!?
