@Num1Zero I thought it said “things people think those wearing Meh shirts say” and there’d be a lower section with actual things we say, like “anyone need a between meal snack? I have a lot of past best-by-date jerky” or “not crypto currency, it’s cellphone currency (a charging backup) and a flashlight/thermos”
@cengland0@Num1Zero I believe you meant cryptid currency. Champ, Mothman, Thunderbird, and Sasquatch, possibly a Hodag if you’re in Wisconsin. All coins because bills aren’t real enough.
Thanks for the heads up @Kyeh!
I don’t think I’ve EVER seen such a detailed size chart! They must be trying to make up for not having one the other day! Lol
@dave@troy It appears that the showme feature got disabled (either turned off or broken) after the 'thon. It was working then, it isn’t now. I haven’t seen anything announced about it, so the Powers may not be aware. (But I flagged a couple, so maybe we’ll get enlightened. Or endarkened. Or lanterned.)
@OC_Dude The next time a Boomer (or one of my fellow GenXers) has a pocket tee on, I will not accept the the excuse “I left my cheaters at home” (sometimes they call them readers).
@marvelljones@OC_Dude T-Shirt pockets are never big enough to hold a pair of glasses securely anyway, it’s always a better idea to just hook one of the temples down the front of the collar of the shirt. At least, that’s true for me. T-shirt pockets are essentially useless as far as I’m concerned. They won’t even hold their own lint.
@marvelljones@OC_Dude@werehatrack
Yes, pockets on T-shirts are totally useless! Now on the other hand we can talk about my bra… You should see the stuff that I have in there!
woot! Shirts! meh. Didja find a load of old New American Apparel Shirts?
(I still have loads of woot!shirt orders I never even opened the packages when the order arrived - I have NO IDEA what the designs are …and I’m no longer that size).
@gwrankin@JohnQ118 I have the one with the broken flask. I like that one. I wish they’d sell that one again. My cats have added tiny claw holes to it (a problem most of my t-shirts have).
@Kidsandliz - Sea Chimp was always my favorite.
I was buying woot!Shirts from the very first one since 2007. I donated all of them, except those I never opened (maybe a dozen?) The American Apparel base shirts in those days were amazing and durable. The base shirts today must be shit.
I can’t believe the Shirt.woot derby is still going on.
OK I’m doing it. I have quite the variety of XL meh shirts. I am on a serious fitness kick so I just bought L sized long and short sleeved versions. Aspirational? Yes. Cheap? Also yes.
@agnesnutter I’ve been waiting for another round of shirts like last time. They had 2 different blues, a green, a gray, a black, etc. I got them all and they’re starting to wear out since I wear them everyday. I’m just happy I still have 14 or so shirts from them that fit well. I guess I’m adding another 2 to my collection today since I don’t do white shirts.
@robson I didn’t even notice cotton/poly. The 14 meh shirts I have are all 100% cotton I thought. Hmm, hopefully the two I just ordered are just as comfortable.
@jakeline@Kidsandliz@macromeh@robson I had considered making a different one, with a similar theme but done up as a seal, with the motto “The existence of Conspiracy Club is proof that there are conspiracies.” (Or something close to that. It could stand some tweaking.)
Please bring back Mediocritee! I apologize for complaining about the price increase. I bought hundreds of dollars of T-shirts from you all but they are starting to get old. I need a new supply and am willing to pay market value for those shirts.
You should hold a survey for reprints! (Hint: the OMNIBUS shirt won’t rank well.) There should be dedicated Mediocritee IRKs to move excess product. Who in the C-suite is going to back this idea?
@amareshkulkarni Honestly, given the prices for printed tees in many other parts of the web, yes, it’s a deal. Not a screamingly outrageous deal, but certainly not a bad one either since it’s not obviously a logo.
Got a compliment the other day on my flask logo shirt from a gas station clerk who didn’t look like the kind of person who gives two fucks about anything. So take that for what it’s worth.
@werehatrack You are correct. Sadly, I’m pretty used to never being able to get my size in cool shirts, and paying out the nose for what little I can find.
I don’t pay to advertise other companies. Not before, not now. Also, super lazy design. Ffs, Meh. Y’all really live up to your company name. Especially odd considering you have such clever write ups.
@debdamndeal The term we like to use in the trade is “generic adult”, but yes, they are from the more-predictable men-centric sizing regime instead of the utterly chaotic women’s.
Just received my long sleeve short sleeve shirt… Very Meh of you to send the long sleeve version of the short sleeve shirt. Since I have 0 arms, it will be a nice addition like a neck belt
What’s up with the weird loop? It’s not really big enough to use to hang the shirt. It’s just kind of annoying. Also, see that loose thread? There were several of those. So much for that great attention to stitching.
@cinoclav@Kidsandliz@narfcake Huh. Seems like a very high-end feature for shirts that feel decidedly meh. I do hope it catches on for more clothing lines though - I hate those little plastic thingies.
@cinoclav That printed label shows why the sizes are running small; “Pakistan”. A business contact once made the horrible mistake of ordering a 20 foot container of 100% cotton allegedly-preshrunk allegenly US-size-labeled t-shirts from Pakistan, and they nearly bankrupted him.
@werehatrack Even then, it’s not a set standard. And despite sizing charts, some t-shirt brands tend to run wider that the stated measurement; others run longer than stated.
As for the container of shirts – let me guess: shrinkage, inconsistent sizing, and QC issues, all to save a buck?
@narfcake All of the above, and wild variations in dye lots as well. In common US “men’s” sizing, I’m a M or an S. In those Pakistani shirts, it was “try before buy and add three inches minimum.” In Chinese sizes, I’m a 3X or even a 4X. In US women’s? Utter chaos. For decades, Gildan, Fruit, Anvil, Jerzees and Hanes dominated the market with a men’s size chart that varied by less than an inch. Then Hanes came out with the “Beefy-T” that was two inches wider and four inches shorter than their mainstream type, and not long after, things got a bit less standard while still staying within some fairly useful limits. Meh.
@GenWithaG123 You beat me to it.
Is this the end of a meh-rathon? Did I sleep through the whole thing?
Meh. But sure I’ll buy one
So the shirt comes with a Lamborghini?
@Num1Zero and Cryptic currency.
@cengland0 @Num1Zero I want the one with the yacht & my own Shakespeare troupe.
@cengland0 @Num1Zero I believe you meant cryptid currency. Champ, Mothman, Thunderbird, and Sasquatch, possibly a Hodag if you’re in Wisconsin. All coins because bills aren’t real enough.
@marvelljones No, I meant cryptic currency.
@cengland0 Yeah, apparently I’m blind. At least I’m blind to that particular panel somehow.
@Lynnerizer They’re back already, this time with a size chart! Same price, too!
Thanks for the heads up @Kyeh!
I don’t think I’ve EVER seen such a detailed size chart! They must be trying to make up for not having one the other day! Lol

@Vad Three is plenty. Keep calm or they will reduce it to one.
@Vad @yakkoTDI “I am altering the deal… pray I don’t alter it any further.”
No shirt pockets??
You’re reminding me of Homestuck. Don’t do that.
No purple. Feh.
@werehatrack I still like the ‘smoke’ one I have. Black on black.
Needs a pocket. Us boomers need a place for our reading glasses.
@OC_Dude Pockets make the shirt a lot harder to print. (I print shirts.)
@OC_Dude

On top of my head works great!
@OC_Dude The next time a Boomer (or one of my fellow GenXers) has a pocket tee on, I will not accept the the excuse “I left my cheaters at home” (sometimes they call them readers).
@marvelljones @OC_Dude T-Shirt pockets are never big enough to hold a pair of glasses securely anyway, it’s always a better idea to just hook one of the temples down the front of the collar of the shirt. Yes, pockets on T-shirts are totally useless! Now on the other hand we can talk about my bra… You should see the stuff that I have in there!
@Lynnerizer I tend to tuck my cell phone into mine.
@werehatrack
… your bra or your pocket?
Lol
@Lynnerizer Bra. Very few of my t-shirts have a pocket, and I treat those as mere decorations. Plus, they wouldn’t even begin to hold a cell phone.
Déjà crew (neck).
@ircon96 V-necks would be nice, wouldn’t they?
@Kyeh At least they would be something new to justify such a quick return!
@ircon96 @Kyeh

Scissors!
It’s the Sharpie way but for T-shirts!
@ircon96 @Kyeh calling @tinamarie1974 - so you can add to the group that wants v-necks.
@ircon96 @Kidsandliz @Kyeh ir a nice acoop neck. Also with real womens sizes.
@ircon96 @Kidsandliz @Kyeh sorry that was suppose to say scoop neck.
@ircon96 @Kyeh V-Necks are the only kind I wear; regular collars feel like they’re choking me!

woot! Shirts! meh. Didja find a load of old New American Apparel Shirts?
(I still have loads of woot!shirt orders I never even opened the packages when the order arrived - I have NO IDEA what the designs are …and I’m no longer that size).
Sooooo… is that a good thing, or a bad thing?
@JohnQ118 I still have a buch of mediocritee shirts in my closet, but I almost always choose the ones with meh printed on it.
@gwrankin @JohnQ118 I have the one with the broken flask. I like that one. I wish they’d sell that one again. My cats have added tiny claw holes to it (a problem most of my t-shirts have).
@Kidsandliz - Sea Chimp was always my favorite.

@Kidsandliz BTW, Sea chimp is still on Print to Order. (I just ordered another one.)
@JohnQ118 Same here. My 2007 shirts all lived long happy lives until they got delegated to work out/yardwork shirts. Some are still going!
The newer shirts though, the designs disintegrate at some point. Not ALL of them, but enough to put me off buying too many more.
Garbage.

OK I’m doing it. I have quite the variety of XL meh shirts. I am on a serious fitness kick so I just bought L sized long and short sleeved versions. Aspirational? Yes. Cheap? Also yes.
@DLPanther The Meh (and cheap) way would be to wssh and dry those XL shirts on high heat until they magically become L sizes.
I miss the black-on-black shirt design. (also the logo was smaller, which I like)
@agnesnutter I’ve been waiting for another round of shirts like last time. They had 2 different blues, a green, a gray, a black, etc. I got them all and they’re starting to wear out since I wear them everyday. I’m just happy I still have 14 or so shirts from them that fit well. I guess I’m adding another 2 to my collection today since I don’t do white shirts.
Cotton/Poly? Ugh, definite Meh!
I thought you got out of the t-shirt business… I used to enjoy the weekly shirt offerings, still have a lot of them.
RIP Mediocritee!
@robson yes! I get compliments every time I wear my “conspiracy club” tshirt!
@jakeline @robson I don’t remember if Meh got me hooked on Mediocritee, or if it was the other way around, regardless.
RIP Mediocritee, You are missed.
@robson I didn’t even notice cotton/poly. The 14 meh shirts I have are all 100% cotton I thought. Hmm, hopefully the two I just ordered are just as comfortable.
@robson cotton poly?! Boooooooo
@jakeline @robson Post a photo of your conspiracy shirt please.
@jakeline @Kidsandliz @robson Oh sure, that’s just what The Illuminati would like us to do.
@jakeline @Kidsandliz @macromeh @robson I had considered making a different one, with a similar theme but done up as a seal, with the motto “The existence of Conspiracy Club is proof that there are conspiracies.” (Or something close to that. It could stand some tweaking.)
@Kidsandliz @robson it is currently in the laundry having been covered in clay at the studio. Or so I’d like you to think

I remember when shirts had sprinkles on them.
@El_Oel Only after leaving the strip club.

@shikarishambu meh flamethrower!
I’m always on the lookout for long-sleeved t-shirts. Glad there’s a non-black option.
Hmm, no good GIFs for this order code.

/giphy universal-grisly-nest
What’s next? Screaming Flying Monkeys?
@alnielsen No, speaker docks and knives!
How about a women’s cut shirt? Also, I second the v-neck option!
I wish you would bring back the shirt that looks like OBEY. It’s my favorite Meh shirt and it’s dying.
@juliusblaise
@juliusblaise I have that one too!
No “conspiracy club” though, want to see a picture of that.
@juliusblaise can we get more of these?!
I pay you to advertise you? Boooooo!
I’ve been waiting for these to come back. All my friends want them
Where’s the breakdown of style/color? Replaced with woot-style map?! Meh for sure
@hammi99

I think it just can’t handle when there’s three attributes (size/color/style):
@dave nice update! I contributed to three long sleeves and one of each color
As much as I would love the long sleeve shirt. I am trying not to spend money until tRump dictatorshipi overthrown.
Is this really a deal? With a monthly shipping cost I would expect better deals…
@amareshkulkarni Honestly, given the prices for printed tees in many other parts of the web, yes, it’s a deal. Not a screamingly outrageous deal, but certainly not a bad one either since it’s not obviously a logo.
I’ve been (im)patiently waiting for these long sleeves to get posted!
/giphy abject-candid-stem

I’m in for 5 more. I’ll be able to go another workweek without doing laundry.
Bring back the black on black version. Mine is starting to wear out !
@Parri I got lucky and ordered 3 random shirts and all were black on black American Apparel Meh shirts.
Got a compliment the other day on my flask logo shirt from a gas station clerk who didn’t look like the kind of person who gives two fucks about anything. So take that for what it’s worth.
No tall sizes makes tall guy sad.
@Slug Tall size blanks can cost as much as double for that extra 3 to 6 inches of length, and they often are inconvenient to get. (I print shirts.)
@werehatrack You are correct. Sadly, I’m pretty used to never being able to get my size in cool shirts, and paying out the nose for what little I can find.
@Slug @werehatrack Wait - you take tall sizes and you pay with your nose - are you a Slug or an Elephant?

@macromeh Actually several slugs in an elephant costume.Don’t tell anyone.
@Slug Your secret is safe with meh.
I don’t pay to advertise other companies. Not before, not now. Also, super lazy design. Ffs, Meh. Y’all really live up to your company name. Especially odd considering you have such clever write ups.
@goldnectar it’s just a word – no dot com or anything
@goldnectar For me, Meh is an expression of my mood, not advertising.
@goldnectar Glad to hear you make all your own clothes.

@debdamndeal The term we like to use in the trade is “generic adult”, but yes, they are from the more-predictable men-centric sizing regime instead of the utterly chaotic women’s.

What’s up with the weird loop? It’s not really big enough to use to hang the shirt. It’s just kind of annoying. Also, see that loose thread? There were several of those. So much for that great attention to stitching.
@cinoclav You’re more observant than I was - I just checked and sure enough, mine has that tiny loop too. Very odd.
@cinoclav @Kyeh Use it to dangle it from a metal clothes hanger?
@cinoclav The attention was devoted to the stitching, not to the thread trimming.
@cinoclav @Kidsandliz @Kyeh Those loops are intended for the hang tags that some brands do. This way, there’s no risk of damage from say a tagging gun.
/image T-shirt hang tag

@cinoclav @Kidsandliz @narfcake Huh. Seems like a very high-end feature for shirts that feel decidedly meh. I do hope it catches on for more clothing lines though - I hate those little plastic thingies.
@cinoclav That printed label shows why the sizes are running small; “Pakistan”. Brands made in Central America and the Caribbean mostly adhere to the US standard for generic adult size dimensions, but all bets are off when the source is in Asia.
It was still far more predictable than what those same brands were producing as “women’s” shirts. I once counted 54 non-identical (and usually not even close) size charts for women’s T-shirts in just one major distributor’s catalog. The big problem is that while men tend to follow a general build pattern, there’s absolutely no standard shape for women.
I thought you guys did American sizes on cloths
This is skin tight, on the size I normally wear disappointed… So guess I’m buying 2xl or larger in future just so it fits like a normal tee shirt any chance I can exchange it or reorder?
@sirbooks2017 The place to ask that question is meh.com/support
I ordered two shirts with long sleeve. You sent the small correct. But the medium is short sleeve. I did not want short sleeve!
