@mediocrebot@phendrick Actually, I really liked this one. (edit for clarification- I liked that first one with the studious orange cat with the book). The expressions are just about perfect. I even did an actual “laugh out loud”, but I won’t cheapen it with the acronym, since it was actually genuine. I do find it interesting that with both prompts the bot came up with a “working” orange kitty, and a “non-working” gray one. I would actually expect the roles to be reversed, but I still do like that first one in any case.
@Doooood@mediocrebot@phendrick
Are these the orange and gray cats you are looking for? My neighbor takes care of them but they like to live outdoors. (Why?) she has a protected shelter for them that’s heated in Winter. I just call them OrangeCat and GrayCat so this image was perfect.
It’s been a yonk since we’ve seen a vac. The last vac I bought here stopped working. The Battery died, and it was proprietary and was no longer being manufactured. I was not a fan of that.
@AaronLeeJohnson I have a really really nice drone I purchased here several years ago. It came with only one battery and I could never locate any batteries that would fit it. It’s down to only flying 5 to 8 minutes before it goes dead and crashes. NOT a wise purchase
@phendrick I think those must be the infamous Ab Whores that you’re referring to. I have yet to figure out exactly what an ab whore is, but that’s beside your point.
@dahobbs9 The Amazon links have the usual “bought with” suggestions that cost exactly One Dollar each and their descriptions look to be vacuum cleaners also. ???
If these are anything like I just got, they look just like it, They are garbage .takes two or three swipes to get the carpet clean, very frustrating. Plus the battery only lasts 10 to 15 minutes if that. Cordless is nice but when it feels like it takes half a day to charge and then only have a 10-minute battery life? Fuhgetaboutit.
@Beruud I had a Tineco like that. I have a Ryobi now. And a shelf full of batteries. Yes, it’s a bit pricier and weighs more than twice as much, but it also does more than twice as much both in duty cycle and crap collection.
You have to make sure you don’t short charge anything like this. Run the battery all the way down before you re-charge, or you will train them to short-charge…Pass, but just saying.
@Mandamm For what it may be worth, and I’m no expert, but just about 100% of what I’ve read about that says that’s just not true. Here’s the most concise statement (after a fuller explanation before it) I’ve found: “Always Short Charge” Myth: Lithium-ion batteries don’t develop a fixed capacity based on charging habits. Any perceived reduction in runtime is more likely due to natural battery aging (loss of capacity over hundreds of charge cycles) or improper storage/usage."
@abatista11 the battery has seen its better days, sounds like low voltage cutoff protection.
High current is being pulled by the motor but the battery capacity is reduced (probably been flat too long) so the voltage nose dives and protection circuit shuts it off.
Amazon has replacement lithium batteries for the R07 & R08. Both are right around $30-$35 ($USf).
Doubt meh got and replacement batteries with the lot of those vacuum cleaners, wonder how they’re gonna handle returns on these puppies
Has anybody bought new filters for this Momax? We seem to be having a good experience with it, so I’m looking for another filter for longer term use.
Thank you!
I know I’m late to the party, but wanted to say that I have the same problem as others in that it shuts down as soon as you turn it on “high”, even with a fully charged battery. I have reached out to support for their thoughts.

This deal is perfect for antagonizing any inebriated felines.
@yakkoTDI my Question is what did you give them to get them so inebriated?
@mycya4me Must have found something bad in the the trunk.
“AI” Garbage.
@DrunkCat
Monday morning rantings
From the inebriated one
Make this feline seem like
A talentless one
@yakkoTDI lol okay mr. “incorrect fact”. bot some more
Parody inspired by Mary Poppins, of course.
@Kyeh check out those tiny ties!
@Kyeh @UncleVinny The boy looks like Ralph Kramden’s Mini-Me.
/showme Inebriated cats using a vacuum to clean the floors
@mycya4me Cats don’t work that hard.
(He’s curled up next to me right now.)
@Kyeh @mycya4me
/showme a hard-working cat and nearby a non-working cat
@mediocrebot bot, you can do better
/showme a cat working with a jackhammer and nearby a supervisor cat
@Kyeh @mycya4me @phendrick Yeah, i have a feeling the animal wrangler at the photo shoot didn’t have to do much training with the cat in photo #18!
@Kyeh I agree, All mine does is Sleep, Beg for food & to be cuddled/ rubbed/ scratched behind the ears!

@AaronLeeJohnson not a fan? That’s because fans are the opposite of vacuums, silly goose!
@AaronLeeJohnson Same. Mine sits in a heap atop its original box as I slowly summon the life force needed to carry it out to the curb.
@AaronLeeJohnson Yeah, I bought one of the Shark minis and it crapped out the 2nd time I used it.
@AaronLeeJohnson I have a really really nice drone I purchased here several years ago. It came with only one battery and I could never locate any batteries that would fit it. It’s down to only flying 5 to 8 minutes before it goes dead and crashes. NOT a wise purchase
What was that about Nature, whores, and vacuums?
We talking witches or something? Mary Poppins? No way.
And 400 watts? I was expecting a battery pack as big as those Energizer solar “generators”.
Maybe that’s where the witchcraft lies.
@phendrick I think those must be the infamous Ab Whores that you’re referring to. I have yet to figure out exactly what an ab whore is, but that’s beside your point.
@Doooood @phendrick
Male bodybuilder gigolos.
@Doooood @Kyeh lol
Sounds like a great line of work.
Wish I had the youth and/or physique to change to that career.
:>)
@phendrick It’s known that Witches use vacuums because they need their brooms
to fly on.
FYI
R07 replacement battery pack is $30

@Beruud cordless vacuum is convenient, but not as powerful as the corded ones.
@pixelated Great summary of the previous comment.

@Beruud degraded battery

@Mandamm @obxer they could have drain down, and froze while they were flat
Momax for Momos
“Enjoy more with family”
Question: What if you don’t have a family?
@pixelated well … If you have a pet then you have a family
I thought it was a Dyson in the pictures but it seems to be a cheap knockoff.
@tjamaco especially with the brand of Momax
Maybe the defective battery with this will work with the defective Dreametech I got in an IRK?
@pmarin Dreametech
@pmarin Two lefts do not reliably make an eggplant.
It turns off if you put it on high

@abatista11 @dahobbs9 Fodder for Irks to enhance our disappointment?
@abatista11 I’m assuming that you charged it fully first; contact meh.com/support for assistance.
@abatista11 this is happening to me, too.
Somebodies bought up all the R08’s rather fast
My R07 is heading back for a refund
dumpster land here it comes!
@dahobbs9 Or an IRK, no joy.
Horrible. Just got it 10 minutes ago and shuts down as soon as you increase the suction.
@user97911320 contact meh.com/support and let them know that there’s a problem. (I’m assuming that you fully charged the battery first.)
