Old Sansa MP3 Players - Looking For A Charger
9I’m pretty sure there are still quite a few old Wooters around here.
I found a bag of old Sansa players from Woot back in the day. Unfortuntely, I somehow divorced them from the charging cables, likely during the multiple moves I’ve had over the past decade or so since I’ve used any of these.
I did find a USB-mini cable for the Clips. However, I can’t find one of those special cables for the M200 or whatever the model number is for those. It’s one of the wide, flat multipin ones. Kinda like a proprietary version of the old Apple cables.
By chance, does anyone still have one of those that they would be willing to sell? I’ll pay for shipping, handling, etc. I just want to see if they work well enough to maybe load up a bunch of audiobooks and donate them somewhere.
I can’t find any that look right on Amazon or even Ebay.
Thank you!

I think I found what you’re after on NewEgg. This looks like their proprietary cords. I initially thought you just needed a mini, but that’s for the M200 series, and your photo is the E200 line.
@ExtraMedium That NewEgg connector looks a lot like the old cell-phone custom connectors. If you knew which one, and the pins were wired the same, then maybe they interoperate.
This looks like TRW swap meet territory, last Saturday of the month.

Seems like those bottom two might use the same charger as the Sansa Fuze line, but I can’t confirm that. Also, note that all of those players are supported by Rockbox if that’s something you’re interested in. They released v4 just last year, so the project is still alive.
i miss this era of woot, internet and gadgets
Have you searched EBay? Anything there?
I think if something isn’t for sale on EBay there’s some way to post a “want” for it somewhere in the site.
You could also just purchase ak old device plus charger off EBay and then you’d be able to charge all of them.
I have this one. It says model e260 on the back.
