Being raised by French parents I always ate a large assortment of fruits, vegetables, grains, and meats. I never really felt like supplements were a necessary thing if you had a well-balanced diet. I still largely adhere to a Mediterranean style diet. Occasionally I will take additional vitamin C if I start to develop the sniffles etc but it’s pretty rare.
Most Americans exceed their required protein intake without really trying.
For those who have need for increased protein intake, powders can be a convenient and economical way to reach their targets without messing up their intake of other macronutrients too much. That’s why I use them.
My protein does not need powder.
Not a good help for me; I’m too weak to open the jar.
Protein should eat grass so I can get my vegetables.
