RIP dryer balls 2020 - 2026
11My very first irk, I got a set of dryer balls that I was still using until today. When a very ambitious cat decided to help herself to them while i was changing over the laundry.
Rest in peace dryer balls, you were very well worth the $5 irk.

@ironcheftoni they look like they are still in good enough shape to do their job, just remember to keep them in the dryer, with the door closed
Say there Pard’ner, that’s a big chunk of wood you got there…
Oak?
@bee1doll it’s probably Bradford pear. It ended up being too big for the fireplace when I brought it in so ended up being used as a scratching log for the cats. I’ve had to rotate it occasionally. One side, the bark is nearly gone.
@bee1doll @ironcheftoni I love the way a log looks when it’s been scratched multiple times. I could never get Toby into scratching them, though. He preferred his well-worn traditional post covered in carpet.
@bee1doll @Kyeh it was well loved by Missy. She especially loved it when I had a fire in the fireplace so she could scratch and get warm at the same time.
@bee1doll @ironcheftoni Oh, I bet!
Snickers and CC love love love the dryer balls. So far I’m just missing one, I have no idea where or what happened to it.
/showme a cat with dragon wings
@mycya4me Here’s the image you requested for “a cat with dragon wings”
My dog, Loki, would steal mine any chance he got.
They have broken multiple fake logs. But they destroy things in general
@unksol Have you given them a real log?
@Kyeh @unksol
@Kyeh @unksol @werehatrack how many do have? I don’t have to go to the store to get as many as my cat wants, when you live on the edge of the Woods.
