The cartoon part of the write up was clever and so “cat”.
You must have accidentally deleted one of the frames. That one the cat was saying: “I couldn’t find my favorite toy I carry around in my mouth but I did find a cockroach to carry around. I know you like to play with me so I brought you my new toy. That you were in bed asleep for hours meant you’d have energy to play if I woke you up. I loved the way it ran all over your bed until it fell off. I then picked it up in my mouth, jumped back on your bed and set it down again. This new toy is great. It doesn’t even need batteries to run around. What I don’t understand is why when you got up instead of playing with me and my fabulous new toy you grabbed it, opened the window and threw it outside.”
And yes - this is a real story about that happened to me in the middle of the night with one of my cats - from my cat’s point of view.

My folks had a copy of this meme taped on their office wall. Not only does it look like their cat Boudreaux, he frequently brought them "perfection "
We have a Litter Robot and it is high maintenance and 3x the price of this device.
We (meaning I) are all the time having to take it apart to clear errors with the computer control thinking there’s dust/litter in hard to reach places that you have to disassemble to reach. Huge PITA to have on average every 2-3 weeks.
The rubber gasket at the entrance has already been destroyed by our cat and the litter has a tendency to collect into a clay-like congealment at the bottom of the litter that does not empty and occasionally has to be scraped out.
Also, looking at this device, you’ll also want to invest in a litter carpet so that the debris doesn’t trek all through the house when you’re cat’s done.
I would be interested in this but I have a feeling it’s more trouble than it’s cost-effectiveness. Even more of a hassle than our Cadillac of a litter box
@stevenorum or my review… my boy cats seemed to hold their pee for so long that the clumps were really large therefore the cleaning mechanism could not lift it.
Several years ago I bought a Litter Robot after finding out auto-scooping litter boxes are a thing. You will not regret getting a litter box that scoops itself. Truly.

Very important that it doesn’t decapitate the cat.
OK, who’s going to be the first to post a video showing their cat using both the litter box and then the app to finish up?
@phendrick Bonus points for including either a music soundtrack or a laugh track.

If your cat weighs 33 pounds, there’s a real good chance that’s not a cat.
@Aspirant_Fool Maine Coon cat

I think my cat would be afraid of this thing.
All the self-cleaning litterboxes I’ve seen have a mix of 3 types of reviews:
I think I’m good with the few minutes of scooping every day or two.

As a dog person, can some cat person please explain to me why your cat needs what appears to be a tanning bed in which they can also crap?
Something went terribly wrong. Please try again.
@txag96 As a cat person, I can see no need for that either.
This contraption looks like a freaking MRI Machine!!

@MrGoodGuy It does.
