Does this have a fart detector like my Winix unit? I love that it’ll turn up to a higher level when it detects high levels of stinky stuff in the air. I would buy this for work if it does!
@Jamileigh17@shoodes You can buy bulk sheets of activated carbon filter material and cut to size. I’ve done this for things like my window A/C. I can’t say for sure about effectiveness of that vs “official” replacement filters.
@mehvid1 If there’s a lapse in purifiers at Meh, SideDeal seemingly always have at least 1 that’s about the price of a new set of filters. OR I could just buy multiple now.
Either way because I’m not continuously running the purifiers, the filters tend to 3-5months
we’re about three months away from not being able to get through literally anything without interacting with some form of broken AI that costs more to run than a medium-sized country, doesn’t actually work, and for some reason makes like four dudes staggeringly wealthy while annoying literally everyone else.

Seeing more things that can only be controlled from the app. Or tiny remotes you will lose, like those electronic flame candles we got a few months ago. I can’t turn mine on now because I can’t find the remote. Actually an app would be better. Phone AI has capability to actually set things on fire — what could go wrong?
I stay away from anything AI and Smart. They aren’t as smart as they’ve led us to believe. After all, humans have trained and invented them. So who’s the creative and smart ones?! Def the creators of Meh!
This doesn’t seem like a good deal. Perfect for smaller rooms around 100 square feet? A 10 x 10 ft room is pretty damn small. I picked up a Morento unit from the original site that works for 1076 square feet sq ft, has a PM 2.5 sensor and display for real time air quality monitoring, a noise rating of less than 24 db in low speed of the four available with three timers and readily available filters from multiple sources. Thing works really well for my whole apartment and was two dollars more in new condition. All the reviews on the Vornado site are from four years ago, so this is probably an older model with not really very up to date features.
@babakool Well, pushing out of date or uniquely unpopular products were a couple of the original points of Meh products, so this is expected. Enticing price points was another, but this one might have landed a bit off the mark considering all the alternatives currently in the rainforest.
