Hey meh! I had a good talk with IRK and he agreed that he would make sure you throw away all the worthless garbage you put in the IRK boxes and dispose of it himself so us loyal mehtizens wouldn’t have to pay to dispose of your junk! He also said he’d make sure you only include useful items in the IRK’s from now on. He even let me snap a pic of him getting ready to dispose of the first dumpster of trash that he was going to accompany to the city refuse facility to ensure it won’t show up in our IRK boxes. YAY IRK!!
@patti with my coupon, mine was only $19 including tax. With the power charger that runs my TV, phone, etc when the power goes out for a couple days, bread maker, hand blenders, food processors, luggage’s, winter jackets, etc, that we have been fortunate enough to receive, we are still ahead. Plus my family and I get a kick out of the unboxing
@patti You’ll probably be EXTREMELY grateful you canceled when you visit the reveal thread after this event. The quality of IRK’s has gone to below that of used toilet paper. The “powers that be” even admitted they keep this site going “just for old times sake”. They likened it to a “first $1 earned that you keep in a frame, just because …”. Sad indeed.
Agreed with what everyone said-especially Mr. Good Guy (never thought I would say that). Not fun anymore, just someone dumping worthless shit into a box for some sucker to get rid of, over priced and most of which we don’t need.
So can you only buy stuff from the mehrathon to get the deal? The ICYMI hours back further, so that’s always had me wondering if 8 could but something from yesterday and it would count.
If not, what’s a good way to know what the first item was for the day since I don’t see any easy way to tell
@sflesch I think you can see the timestamp on the ICYMI. But just for reference purposes, the JVC HA-D6T True Wireless Earbuds was the first item listed. The RC monster trucks were yesterday.
Last irk was so crappy, I didn’t bother posting. Only one usable thing was the all purpose cleaner stuff that actually wasn’t bad. It’s good at cleaning the top of the stove. Let’s see what this month’s regret brings.
