@haydesigner maybe the reports of short life for the humidifier part are due to it running dry and sitting there overheating. A lot of ultrasonic dehumidifiers rely on the water to cool the emitter element. Or so I’m told. I doubt that this one has any kind of a sensor to shut down the humidifier when there is no water left.
