@pakopako yep, buy one of these. It’ll take you half an hour per ear in the shower, but it’ll do the job. The outcome is pretty gross, and so pretty obvious, but possibly not as bad as the running commentary I got from the ENT nurse one time.

Warm peroxide works soooo much better, use a mini spray bottle. Then do a rinse with warm water.
Been doing this monthly for many decades. Works great
