@blaineg@therealjrn My (late) SIL was from Finland - her name was Kirsti. In the US (before Kirstie Alley came on the scene), most people called her Kristy, so eventually she just went with it and started going by Kris.
@cfg83 for all people want to diss Strange New World I enjoyed that episode. His fascination with humanity and that whole ad-libbed inseam was just hysterical
@Cerridwyn@cfg83 Go ahead and revoke my Trekker card because I enjoyed the whole Strange New World series. To me it captured a lot of the flavor of the Original series.
@cfg83@therealjrn I’ve enjoyed them all at some level except for I think section 31. It’s not the fact that it exists, because I really believe something like that would still exist. But it’s just it wasn’t Star Trek. It was something missing at its heart. And yes I love strange in the worlds but a lot of other people don’t I even enjoyed discovery come most of it
That got a laugh from me!
@PooltoyWolf I’m still laughing!!

That was awesome!
Live long and prosper!
POPSOCKETS! ROAD ROCKETS! SONNY CROCKETT! AWESOME!
