I’ve got to admit, in my mind, automatically,
dog=male and cat=female.
@chienfou same here, but likely because Ive mostly had male dogs (with maybe one exception and she was the bestest girl)

OMG that is the Best sign. Plus on YouTube you search for Alien & Cats. Most Aliens don’t want to tangle with a Cat, they might can handle a Dog, But Cats they are truly scared of!

When I was the goat, I had the (mis)fortune of a few extra days added to my sentence–I mean, my reign–waiting for the official pronouncement.
@ItalianScallion Nothing I do around here is official. Which is why I extended congratulations to Roadie for having been the most popular candidate, but not for having won, although that is admittedly implied. If I’d dared to say the latter outright, I’d have been shredded. Because How Dare I.

@Roadie I remember when I got goated, and I had a very mixed reaction, largely because I still considered myself a newb at that point. Fear not, the actual level of expectation is fairly low, and you get to write your own job requirements. I suggest having fun with it, why not?

I totally enjoyed my stint as goat. You can be as involved or as detached as you wish, but this is your chance to create a lasting presence on this forum. How you achieve that (if you so choose) is strictly up to you.
