The irksome new menu design

I can’t be the only one who finds it quite annoying to access the menu after the UI change. I have to mouse up to this tiiiiny little button (just 13 pixels wide!) and click it, and then move my mouse about 700 pixels west to get to the menu that just opened, nowhere near the button you have to click to open it.

I wouldn’t mind the distance so much if the button didn’t require so much precision to activate. As it stands, it often takes me multiple attempts to open it, whether I’m on my phone or the good ol’ mouse and keyboard.
