@brainmist@ChadP one of our convention waiting games was “bowling for prizes” - each year we would get a bigger die to be thrown at a trio of prizes; in shuffleboard/curling fashion, your die would have to stop atop the prize/circle.
In our… sixth? seventh? year of doing this, someone donated a fuzzy d6 “suit” (a cloth box lined with fake Sherpa). Contestants would climb inside the suit and tumble forward (we do not encourage somersaulting or flipping). The suit survived maybe half a day before the edges just weren’t staying stiff enough to form a cube.
I will have the coolest PB sandwiches at Gen Con! All lame toasted or non-toasted or PB sandwich people who don’t have logos on their breads will bow down to me! I will be King of Gen Con!
If I had a nerd wedding to go to, this would be the gift.
Especially if it were nerds whose registry was ridiculous.
(Back when the college nerds I knew were getting married, I went to a wedding where the cheapest item on the registry was a napkin that cost 5 hours of work, before taxes, for those of us nerds working university jobs (which paid about 50% better than minimum).)
