Bought one for my daughter who just moved into her first apartment and didn’t have a toaster. BECAUSE it’s stupid and useless. But it does in fact toast as advertised!

Mine is for our White Elephant (Yankee Swap) for Christmas 2025, and this factoid will just improve its overall value, either downward or upward, both work for a White Elephant.
My hubby runs an online D&D game. I grabbed one of these for next time he needs a gift for one of his players. Then again, he may decide to keep it for himself, because he’s a big nerd.

@troy Nope. Sorry. I did go look as I get the emails. Read the negative reviews and they seemed to mostly mention the same group of problems which would indicate there is likely an issue. I have bought and returned 2 toasters so far as I had the same problems the others did with the negative reviews. The biggest things I care about is that it toasts evenly (apparently an issue with many toasters and both the ones I bought), takes up less space than some of them (small amount of kitchen counter), doesn’t break after a short period of time. Not looking for fancy functions as I use the thing to mostly toast bread and occasionally bagels.
