I have never laughed at a meh product write up in all the years I have been here. Probably because I am a cranky old guy. There’s a first time for everything, I guess. Don’t need one of these (even though the small kitchen appliances are all red) But I laughed. Out loud. Not sure what that says about me.
I bought one of these the last time it came up. It’s absolutely fantastic and really puts my neighbor’s borrowed cheapo immersion blender to shame.
It purees like nobody’s business and it functions essentially like a mini food processor. It completely obliterated some walnut halves I threw at it and the whisk is a pretty good standin for my hand mixer, though only having one makes it a little less than perfect. And I am not using the top speed(s) on it.
There’s not much it won’t be able to handle for my needs. It won’t be making dough though.

@Frcal Yeah, visual = better for monkey brain.
Hitachi makes something similar that I hear is very popular.
@tweezak They are hard to get in the kitchen though.
