@fuzzmanmatt Ollie’s also has a lot of the same stuff, including the Dorothy brewers. So I thought they might have a buyer in Mississippi too.
I wasn’t surprised by Ollie’s, because they’re a closeout store. But I don’t picture Menard’s as a closeout place. Not that I have any Menard’s experience.
@Alereon@ergomeh it’s big for 100 watt output. Meh recently sold AUKEY (I think) power banks that had higher wattage output and they were small enough that they didn’t need a handle. Of course u get solar panels with these! That might make it worth it.
@Atomizer Low capacity - 99Wh. As pointed out, there are physically smaller systems (check Sidedeals) with that capacity. (And there were “electrically” bigger, some 100’s of Wh).
/showme Anthropomorphized goat named Zxellon is in Olympic outfit representing the country of “meh” and is throwing Wattbricks Portable 100W Power Station as if it was a shot-put.
Can we stop with the AI-generated images please? I shouldn’t need to remind anyone that these AI companies are driving people from their homes. I like the overall vision of meh.com - keeping overstock out of landfills is a good thing - but I’m not giving y’all a pass just because you’re doing a good thing. Just take a photo with your own phone camera if you’re so unwilling to pay a photographer.
@chaddicus Most phone cameras use AI in some way now, too. For example, ever seen those super cool-looking moon photos everyone takes with their cellphones? It’s AI.
@AA112358 the panel has a 7909 connector, you can use the panel for other uses if you buy an adapter. I’m using a 7909 to xt60 adapter to use the panel from this to charge another solar generator.
I can’t see whether the power bank can charge via solar while also providing power output. This is sometimes called “pass-through power”. If it does have this feature, it could provide continuous usb power without grid connection…
@lazslojamf
This is in the manual. Putting a link to the manual below for anyone to see:
Charge and discharge simultaneously
An advanced battery management system allows it to charge connected devices via both DC output and USB output while charging the H100
I bought this from a different retailer a few weeks back. Overall it’s pretty good, my one complaint is the solar panel connector. The solar panel uses a dc7909 connection, and this comes with a dc7909 to usb c adapter. A gust of wind blew over my solar panel, which broke their adapter, and so far I’ve tried 2 different types from Amazon and neither work.
I’ve settled on using a 7909 to xt60 to charge a different bluetti solar generator, and charging this exclusively from usb instead of solar.
Does the “30W solar panels” mean that this 100W power bank will fully charge in under 4 hours of bright sun? I readily admit I know little about what the ratings really mean. Thanks in advance for anyone who knows.

$30 bux off? Meh
“The power of the sun in the palm of my hand.”
$33.70 at Menard’s for the next 40 minutes or so, with a rebate on top of that. If you live near a Menard’s you can do free ship to store and get this for $10 less. https://www.menards.com/main/electrical/solar-wind-power/wattbricks-100w-portable-power-station-with-solar-panel/h100b/p-4420330307044668-c-6292.htm
If you don’t, well, I’m with you. Neither do I.
This was the same price at Sam’s a little while back but I missed out. I’m not sure it came with the solar panels then.
@djslack I was walking through Menards earlier today and saw the Dorothy iced coffee maker for sale, too! Did a Meh buyer move to Wisconsin?
@fuzzmanmatt Ollie’s also has a lot of the same stuff, including the Dorothy brewers. So I thought they might have a buyer in Mississippi too.
I wasn’t surprised by Ollie’s, because they’re a closeout store. But I don’t picture Menard’s as a closeout place. Not that I have any Menard’s experience.
@djslack that’s a deal breaker
@djslack mail in rebate… I haven’t seen those words in like a decade.
I don’t think most people would call this a “power station” since it doesn’t have AC output. This is a power bank with a solar panel.
@Alereon No AC output? It was tempting until you wrote that.
Is this the first time they left the AI-film image as-is versus inserting an image of the actual product? Not complaining, just curious.
@Alereon and physically very large for something so electrically small. 100W output is not bad though…

@ergomeh WTF does “electrically small” mean?!?
@Atomizer Low capacity - 99Wh. As pointed out, there are physically smaller systems (check Sidedeals) with that capacity. (And there were “electrically” bigger, some 100’s of Wh).
Being flight ready is a good thing.
@cfg83 how far do you think you can throw it?
@Zxellon Ooof …
/showme Anthropomorphized goat named Zxellon is in Olympic outfit representing the country of “meh” and is throwing Wattbricks Portable 100W Power Station as if it was a shot-put.
@cfg83 Here’s the image you requested for “Anthropomorphized goat named Zxellon is in Olympic outfit representing the country of meh and is …”
@mediocrebot Meh speed!
@cfg83 @mediocrebot Wow. Remember when AI would add extra fingers and get all the words wrong?
/image be very afraid.

@cfg83 @mediocrebot cringe
@cfg83 @Zxellon Time to take to the sea!.. wait, this isn’t a car battery.
@cfg83 @stinks
So, how many fingers should a goat have?
@cfg83 @macromeh @stinks now that’s the real question.
I’d go with two. Maybe three if you count that thing at the back of the hoof as a sort of thumb. (What’s that thing called? a dewclaw?)
Ok but I LOLed at the goat having actual fingers in this pic. Pilgor would be horrified!

@chaddicus @LocoLobo79 You can definitely take some super cool moon photos with some phones without AI.
Any solar experts out there? Can the panel be hooked up for other applications, let’s say directly to charge a 12V car battery?
@AA112358
You’d need something that would be able to moderate the flow so that you don’t overcharge the battery.
@AA112358 the panel has a 7909 connector, you can use the panel for other uses if you buy an adapter. I’m using a 7909 to xt60 adapter to use the panel from this to charge another solar generator.
Apparently it’s not the best deal according to the forum, but the silver lining here is that the battery is LFP: SDS Sheet
Sure, it’s heavier than regular Li-ion, but it should last longer.
@heartbleed Heavier, but since it’s so small, it shouldn’t really matter too much.
I can’t see whether the power bank can charge via solar while also providing power output. This is sometimes called “pass-through power”. If it does have this feature, it could provide continuous usb power without grid connection…
@lazslojamf it can do pass through power. I’ve charged this while having a laptop plugged into it.

@Snowy556
Is the dc7909 to usb c adapter that passthrough plug connector shown in image 5?
Seems like they’d use a standard part but sounds like the wiring is different from regular adapters from Amazon
I wonder if Convert to X plus a Convert X to USB C would work, but I suppose that’s just complicating things too much.
@Snowy556
possible source for a working adapter?
