Oddly, years later I moved to Washington State but not that region. Beautiful region to check out.
Sorry it’s NorthEast or Canada (Eh?) pure maple for me. Ideally from the producer that makes it. Nice drive in the woods. (Unfortunately 3000 mi away from me now) Grade B Amber.
@kittykat9180@phendrick I got to get up there again. Not now when all the leaf people are there; I hear it’s a zoo! I got nothing against pretty leaves, but I’ve seen pictures of small roads jammed with city tourists once the leaf season peaks.

I love the fall colors, but no leaf peeping for me when I was there. There were only a handful of trees changing. But by next week and through mid-October there will be lots of fall foliage.

I went to New England last week. I was worried when I got my bag back that my clothes would be covered in maple syrup.
