Depends on the party. Sometimes food, sometimes booze, sometimes board games. Of course, that was back when I lived somewhere that I had friends and family. Now there are no parties except my regularly scheduled pity party.
I once took a chocolate fountain, but that ended up being a pain because I had to tend to it, and then later someone managed to burn the motor out when I put it in the break room afterwards. (Work Christmas party.) The higher ups did replace it for me, but I’ve never used it since.
Anybody want a chocolate fountain?
@Kyeh Tempting. But I think that would take more couth to use than I usually demonstrate. Sounds like extra work instead of chomping chocolate directly.

@Pony
I bring pity and esp self-pity to pity parties.
Most def food. And probably whisky. Or cocktail happiness.
My best acted regrets, for not being able to attend.
Party? For that I’d have to have friends.
When I was younger and cooler, I’d bring bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers.

@Kyeh I want a chocolate fountain. It would go great with my cotton candy machine.
@Pony It would! Invite me to a party & I’ll bring it & leave it with you.
(When @Sillyheathen comes out, maybe!)

@mediocrebot I’m not whelmed by that image.
@phendrick It’s a lot of work, especially cleaning the damn thing.
