i do not art. i simply have no artistic talent, as well as my siblings. it is a bit strange considering my folks are quite artsy, and both were art teachers!

I had an anatomy teacher in college who got his bachelor degree in art. The drawings he’d put in the board each week in the lab for the cytology portion were unbelievable. They looked better than the slides most of the time.

I’ve made some masterpieces in the porcelain throne room, mind you.
Unfortunately, they fall into the category of ephemera.
I break out the plasma cutter and the welder, and when the atrocity is complete, I take it out to the curb for the recycling guys to haul off.
If I can do it, it’s not art.
Laugh at myself for forgetting that I have no artistic abilities.
Though I have always envied those artsy people.

I find crayons really fun to work with, for whatever reason. They can smear just the right amount.
