Sorry but these things are generally garbage for car tires. Absolutely great for small stuff, but in my experience these small compressors just overheat and die if you try and use them for anything bigger than a bike tire.
If you’re lucky, you have a gas station near you that does air for free (Stewart’s FTW if you’re in the Adirondacks area).
Got one from Meh a while back, it works well. Only note is that pumping car tires with the on-board battery is slow, and the battery lasts for maybe 2 tires if they each need < 5psi. But the cigarette lighter adapter cable is long, so unless you’re in an Escalade (in which case you’re not buying this anyway), it’ll reach.
@suckrpnch Used to have a simlar smaller unit I carried on my MTB frame years ago. It got beat to crap. Maybe on a road bike but not anythin bumbps and grinds
Wouldn’t $15 be a good deal for a spare emergency USB-C charger functionality for the car? With a light even? Somewhere I saw the battery as 20k, that’s higher end capacity for a battery bank (at least not low-end).
I’ve bought 2 other brands off here and have had good luck on both car and bike tires. However, 1-2h runtime? Seriously? Either this is very slow or amazingly efficient.

@moosetoga It definitely gets pretty warm, but in my experience hasn’t overheated pumping up car tires.

@tet3 how dare you tell me not to fill my $80,000 escalade’s tires with a $15 pump /s
Seems like it could be good mounted on a bike frame for long rides. Weighs just under 2 lbs…

I’ve got two of these in our cars and they work well. At this price, in for one as a supplemental gift at Christmas.
