That’s weird, I got something different on my Google search, this is what it said…
This image captures a scene from the 2003 romantic comedy film, Something’s Gotta Give, featuring actors Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. The film was written, produced, and directed by Nancy Meyers.
The scene shows their characters working on a jigsaw puzzle titled “Festive Cat Bunch”.
@Lynnerizer Whooops! Did I say that? What I meant to say was Wes Anderson had made a line of movie inspired jigsaw puzzles. The meh.com site modified the picture above to show today’s cat puzzle. The puzzle was SUPPOSED to be the hotel from The Shining.
/showme Jigsaw Puzzle box named “The Shining by Wes Anderson” with picture of a white hotel with mountains in the background.
Some of the pieces are the characters from the film.
This was part of Wes Anderson’s master plan of co-opting all great films as “his own”. With time and determination, Wes felt people would be too confused to know who made what, and he would get the credit.
@cfg83 Jack & Wendy are getting along SO much better since he cooled off in the hedge maze for a bit. They make such a cute couple, I’m glad they worked things out.

@mbstringham The next worst thing is when the puzzle box picture is a photograph and the puzzle itself is a painting of that photo. Might as well be working with no picture at that point.
@mbstringham@yakkoTDI Some say using the image on the box is cheating. Maybe you should practice on some 100-piecers before attempting your next 2000-piece specimen of hubris in puzzle form…?
I just finished a 1000 piece puzzle that took me literal months… Just sitting on my kitchen counter as I found occasional pieces to fit together. What better way to celebrate than with another 1500 puzzle pieces?
whenever i buy one of these it’s always disassembled in the box and it takes me forever to set it up. maybe i just have really bad luck with these things, but i really wish they would package them a little more carefully.
There is a group of people in the building I live in that sit for hours every day doing these things. Once. Because when they are done they glue them together and frame them. Not sure who else besides them puts them on the wall in their apartment as they do, on average, 2-3 puzzles a week. They’ve done this for years. Ugh.

This is a puzzling offer.
@yakkoTDI Yep I agree, why would they do this?
@mycya4me @yakkoTDI I know why …
I am taking a stack of jigsaw puzzles to the thrift store to donate tomorrow, so I think I’ll pass this one up
@jakeline Soooo, THAT’S where is getting them from. As of this post, people bought 46 of your puzzles, and there’s still some left.
How did you accumulate over FORTY SIX puzzles? Do you join the puzzle of the week club?!?!?!?
Meh must be working hard to put this deal together!
Is this a real product, or something someone accidentally mass-produced as a personalized gift for a family member?
@AaronLeeJohnson Yeah, I couldn’t help but think those were our kitties.
The movie reference is the little known sequel to The Shining, directed by Wes Anderson.

@cfg83 @Lynnerizer Whoosh!
@cfg83
Don’t you whoosh our sweet @Lynnerizer, that’s just mean @yakkoTDI!

Something went terribly wrong. Please try again.
@mediocrebot Wow, Wes is hard core to cut me off like this. I was only trying to help him steal Kubrik’s Oscar.
@mediocrebot
/showme Wes Anderson stealing Oscar from Zombie of Stanley Kubrik.

@mediocrebot Yup, Wes is pissed!

@cfg83 You might want to take some tips from Zsa-zsa Korda about how to evade Wes’ assassins. They’re nothing if not persistent!
I am puzzled, my thoughts are scattered, and my mind can’t fit it together.

Anyone used this puzzle brand before? Are the pieces of good quality? I hate pieces that don’t fit together very well

@jcpseattle And I thought I was a glutton for punishment.
/showme 25000 piece puzzle covering floor of house. Humans, cats, dogs, and mice are trying to fit puzzle pieces into incomplete parts of the puzzle.
@cfg83 Here’s the image you requested for “25000 piece puzzle covering floor of house. Humans, cats, dogs, and mice are trying to fit puzzle…”
@mediocrebot Ha! No cat would be dumb enough to help humans complete the puzzle. That’s a job for dogs and mice!
@cfg83 Guys, watch out! There’s a weird woman wearing 2 different shoes lurking in your kitchen watching you!
@cfg83 @mediocrebot The cat would bat the pieces all oer the place.
