The best puzzle I ever did was 500 pieces. Called “The Red Menace” it was entirely the SAME shade of red, and 20" ROUND (no corners). It took me months, working in the evening for several minutes at a time, fitting maybe 2 or 3 pieces before going to bed. And when I finished it, I glued it to a cardboard back, and STOPPED doing jigsaw puzzles entirely. Maddening. That was the epitome of jigsaw puzzles, well worth the long time to complete!
Years ago we did 3D foam backed puzzles of famous buildings. It wasn’t the number of pieces, rather thinking specially that posed the challenge. Unfortunately they deteriorated and were thrown away.

No matter how many pieces, my dad would always sneak one when no one was looking then come back hours later and put in the last piece when everyone was looking for it.
1 million pieces or 5 for the Mentally challenged.
@mycya4me
Nope, not mentally challenged, just don’t like jigsaw puzzles…

@JohnQ118 Wow, that sounds like methadone for Jigsaw Puzzle addicts.
@JohnQ118 They should make one that has no edge pieces. All sides of every piece look like they should interlock. That would be downright evil.

@JohnQ118 @phendrick @tweezak good idea about no edge pieces; next closest thing I’ve seen has a picture on both sides for two puzzles in one
Crossword puzzle sized.
1500, consisting of three 500-piece puzzles mixed together…
Hey!

@texmarc Yeah, cities do that to buildings.

@texmarc Does anyone else have déjà vu…?
Whatever the box says, not two less.
@phendrick This! The boxes should have childproof lids.
Two pieces.
The number of pieces changes every time you open the box.
