Cat treats…a few days ago it was dog treats. I remember the days when I purchased TV’s and other “worthy” electronics from this site. MEH is absolute dog-shit now!
@k9mckaig Political uncertainty. But you can make yourself feel good by pampering your cat.
And it is still cheaper than buying diapers for a kid. (Also, the responsibility is more …ehhh… short lived)
My little monsters are picky af, but in for a box of these. I know enough childless cat people so these won’t go to waste if my cats are jerks

@dkaine@user01435213
Ah, I see you’ve heard of postmortem predation. Yes, cats will eat anything if sufficiently hungry, so it’s in my best interest to keep them interested in their cat food.
My baby girl is addicted to the Inaba Churu-crack, and since she was diagnosed with cancer last month, she gets all she wants, which is a lot. She’s getting radiation treatment so she’ll probably be okay, but do I take a chance on getting these?
@kjady I’m so sorry for your losses! Yes the plan is to spoil her as much as humanly (or cattily) possible, and pray that her treatments will mean I can for at least a few more years.
@phonepole Thank you. They were only 7 years old, both from the same litter. My only comfort is the fact I know I gave them the best lives I could. Time outside, cuddles, the finest fleece blankets and beds. Lots of toys and treats. Medical help when needed and time to just be cats.
I hope your kitty does well with treatments. Hug her a little extra tonight she deserves it.
I bought these treats here, then on side deal because being listed multiple times usually indicates you’ll never see them again at this price—and I’ll probably buy more right now. I add a little water to the pouch and it does a good job of providing hydration along with the fillet, which is of undeniably high quality compared to most treats. The 5-8 cats I help feed in my complex and my own 2 cats vastly prefer the Tuna, but strays will love either one (so far, Chicken + a fishy sauce is better than Chicken with Chicken sauce).
Full disclosure: we’re not sure but it might be giving one of my cats a little runnier poop, but given how much he doesn’t really care about normal kibble it’s probably just because he shouldn’t eat a whole one by himself—although I should say “drink” since he loves the liquid and doesn’t eat the damn fillets. It’s probably my fault for adding the water, but given expiration dates and the fact that my cats can’t speak English (yet) it might be worth keeping an eye out. No complaints from anyone else however, although I haven’t yet developed a good polling system for the strays. One is picky & loves the Tuna (but will pass on Chicken unless really hungry), another will inhale literally anything. I have cameras but let’s be honest as long as they’re fed I’m not wasting drinking time on this… which is what I’m doing now so let’s wrap it up.
This seriously is a no-brainer if you go through a lot of treats. During COVID (sorry) Inaba Churu tubes went on sale on Amazon and I’ve tried their stuff here and there ever since—their QC has always been good, their products have been reliable, and at the prices I’m willing to pay (e.g., meh & Slickdeals prices), I generally stock up. I’ll probably buy more of these this time as well.
@dvermilion P.S. Try to avoid getting the Tuna on your hands if possible (it can be pungent), and I bought both the Extra Tender Chicken variety and the regular; there’s not a massive difference between the two, but I prefer the Extra Tender because I usually break these up (in order to absorb as much liquid as possible), so it might not matter for you.
@dvermilion@ironcheftoni I squish the package first too, but to separate it into 3 servings. One cat only eats dry kibble. No treats, table scraps or wet food. The other eats like dog, gobbling down whatever he can get. He gets this three times a day, since he won’t eat dry treats, and rarely eats kibble. He loves it. doesn’t seem to matter if it’s chicken or tuna. This will be the third time I’ve bought one of each. Should last for a while.
When I got my cat from the Rescue shelter, he had the name “Fetta” after the cheese, that was when he farted it really ranked! Or smelling like Fetta. It almost could take the paint off a car! So I started him on dry food. That ended the farting. Oh BTW I changed his name to THOR!
Human here. This stuff is great for a quick, no-fuss single serve sandwich or dip. Just mash with a little mayo, some prefab pickle relish, and whatever seasoning you have handy. It’s really quite a decent quality product-- without the “tinny” metallic taste you get from canned tuna or chicken. And, oh yeah. . . the cats and their pet dogs love it as a treat.
My cat and the elderly feral cat in my yard both just love these. Endless meowing before the bowl hits the floor/ground. Definitely go with something fishy even if it is the chicken in some kind of fishy sauce. Just got some extra off of SideDeals so I’m fully stocked at the moment. Definitely worth it at this price.
I think I’ve been following Meh since it’s very beginning. I’ve purchased a few things here and there, but have never posted here. Decided to give this a try to see if my cat will eat it. He has gotten increasingly picky as he’s aged, and chicken is a “high value food” for him. He’ll do anything for it. He’s 19 years old now, in very rough shape, and every morning that he greets me, I’m surprised he’s still alive. If he doesn’t make it through this box, I will send them to the shelter. Thanks for that idea!
@CyndiM I hope he loves it! I was in that situation with my last cat. My sister went through that with a dog recently and she was giving her crazy meals, putting whipped cream on them, etc. just to get her to eat a little more. Good luck!
After reading the write-up, I had to say that I bought the Grilled Chicken Fillet in Chicken Flavored Broth here not long ago, and did try it myself. It was decent, but a bit dry. Cats apparently felt the same as about 50% of them scarfed it, while the others walked away.

The only cat treat is a hand cut “AI” datacenter grilled into the sun.
@DrunkCat That makes no sense. There is not a cat around that would east that. There is not even a dog and they eat poop.
I guess when you said this was a creative writing exercise you meant it was to create garbage and nonsense replies to responses.
@yakkoTDI lol okay mr. “incorrect fact”. bot some more
What happens if you give this to a dog?
@elilevesque ever seen the cartoon cat-dog?
@ironcheftoni Look, you can get more!
@Kyeh yes! Getting more of the chicken since i have two cases of tuna
@ironcheftoni Score!

@k9mckaig you missed the speaker dock and knives era then…
At a half ounce per package, they must have taken those photos with tiny plates.
@craigthom my cat dishes and my human dishes are the same small size. The cuts aren’t huge my stomach just isn’t that big…
Bought them last time. Big hit with my cats, bigger hit with our local shelter.
Grandma loves these! In for 3 so she keeps me in the will.
I’ll give them a try on our five brat cats.

@jakeline my cats are also picky widdle shits, and they love the tuna in tuna broth and tuna in crab broth.
@dkaine @jakeline Given enough time, a cat will eat anything. Who’s boss in your house?
I thought so.

@jakeline @user01435213 @yakkoTDI I am merely a glorified can opener in my cats’ manor… Albeit a well-paid one (but that’s from my second job).
Here kitty kitty kitty
What timing! Was down to the last box from last time! Gonna have 3 happy cats

@phonepole I have lost two cats in the last month. Yes, get them and spoiler her rotten until you can’t.
@phonepole yolo, get the stinkiest combination possible

@kjady - Oh, no! Only 7 years old? How terribly sad!
@phonepole - I hope your girl likes these and does well with the radiation!
Hand cut! Who has this job?
/showme a cat cutting food with a knife.
@luseruser Slave / child labor.

@dvermilion to avoid getting it on my hands, i squish the package a bit before cutting it open. It seems to slide out easier that way

Cat Treats - that’s what we used to call the “Kitty Roca” that my dog would sneak out of the litter box when she thought no one was looking.
I have two cats. One is a freak who only eats crunchy food, and the other is a freak who only eats the Fancy Feast with the cheese in it.
Sent it straight to my local animal shelter
