@Kyeh I know!!! This doesn’t happen very often to people so in that respect I was just randomly unlucky. One other time, years ago, I had an open box but there was a rolled up door mat that was stuck to the tape and prevented stuff from falling out (well some stuff might have fallen out but there was enough in that fuko that would have been hard to justify complaining about what might have been in there that did or did not fall out).

@Kidsandliz Geeez. You don’t think someone in the complex swiped the contents?

@Kidsandliz That really sucks. I wish the shipping department would be more conscientious about making sure the boxes are sealed properly. A lot of my orders show up half open because the tape doesn’t even go over the ends of the flaps. Customer service should do something for you, send another IRK or something.

@Kyeh A thief inside the building is not very likely. I am at the end of the hall around 2 corners from the elevator. And there are security cameras in the hall. Around here the entire box would walk if something was going to walk. Faster and safer for the thief. We really haven’t had a box theft problem since some guy here died of a likely fentanyl overdose.

Last night I contacted customer service to let them know what happened.

@Kyeh @tinamarie1974 thank you! I had to say goodbye to my sweet calico, Missy two months ago. I wasn’t sure about getting another but this one was a dumped kitty found by friends in east Texas. Squeaker has been really accepting of her but he’s pretty sure she’s the little sister he didn’t ask for.

@Kyeh @tinamarie1974 thank you. Missy was almost made it to 18 years. She was declining with kidney and thyroid issues. I had her for 12 years. My inheritance from my aunt and uncle when they passed away.

That light therapy mask is supossed to be a really nice one. I’ve been kinda hoping they send it to me. I got one of the cellulite things too but I’m having a hard time getting it to work. I was really excited to get that too.

@milstarr Just put it out to expand and it seems very nice. The only benefit of having Chronic Fatigue is I can sleep with any pillow

@fjp999 @milstarr Maybe the chronic fatigue is from something else, but have you checked yourself for sleep apnea? A friend of mine went years being able to fall asleep anywhere anytime, and then got diagnosed with the apnea.

@Kyeh I was diagnosed over a decade ago after a very rough and long treatment for Hep C. I am “undetectable” but the treatment messed up many of my systems. I have been tested for everything… they did find that I have a very mild sleep apnea which my body naturally resolves by turning onto my side.

@fjp999 Oh, wow - I’m sorry to hear that! But I guess at least you don’t have to wear a C-pap mask.

@Kyeh The doc that ordered the sleep study didnt even read the study findings and put me on a C-pap but that didnt last too long! That thing was not for me… I eventually asked the doc to read the study… I hate the medical system!

@fjp999 @Kyeh for some reason when people have trouble they always put them on a mask. And then they don’t wear it. They can’t get comfortable in it Etc if people put on pillows instead compliance goes up significantly

@Cerridwyn @fjp999 Ugh, I don’t think I’d be able to stand it, it seems so confining.

@Cerridwyn @fjp999 @Kyeh I was diagnosed about 8 years ago. I will say the first few months was difficult. It was hard to get comfortable w the mask and I seemed to take it off in my sleep, finding in on the floor the next morning. That said it got better every week.

I was set up w a nasal mask and have switched models a few times over the years to smaller and smaller models. The only challenge I have is that I am short/petite and seem to be in between kids and adult sized things (think crutches, neck braces, those crazy boots when you break your ankle, and yup cpap masks) so finding one that would sit right on my face wasy biggest issue.

I wanted to succed because the nights where I kept it on I would wake up feeling amazing. Eight years later I happily wear mine every single night.
