@ItalianScallion one of the few things I miss about being up in Monterey was Whole Foods being my neighborhood market so to speak. Here it’s about an hour drive each way. The one that’s a slight bit closer is very small.
@Cerridwyn That’s the way Trader Joe’s used to be out here on the East Coast. My ex- and I would put a big cooler in the car and make the trip to Trader Joe’s every couple of months. Come to think of it, it’s still like that in Rhode Island where my mom lives: 45 minutes each way.

(From one of those local places, up in sonoma california, i got bacon steaks once, and OMFG they were the bomb. About 1/4 pound each)
