@phendrick@sillyheathen That looks a w e s o m e (screw you, b o t!) – I’d expect nothing less in England! That makes me nostalgic, it’s been way too long since I’ve dropped in on the cool little shops in Salem, MA. My late sister & i would make the obligatory October visits & my late husband & i would stop by anytime we were in the vicinity. It was always one of my favorite places, especially the less touristy nooks & crannies. Good times.
@phendrick Don’t forget Thanksgiving, for those trying to escape subsequent “family togetherness” over the winter festivities! Oh, wait, sounds like you have plans for the in-laws. (Just don’t try mushrooms like that woman in Australia, they’ll be on alert for those! )
@ircon96
Interestingly these are locally also known as “naked ladies”. The reason is because the stalk and flower pops up with no greenery around it. They have been popping up in the middle of my yard so I tend to mow around them a little bit. After the flower dies back leaves grow up out of the ground. Actually kind of a fun plant.
I got nothing but I am curious to see how the thread spammers do with this one.
too tired to come up with my own but my fave was killodendron
