Whenever I think of a shaker I think of that one Tom and Jerry cartoon where Tom shakes Jerry in a shaker. At least that’s what I remember, I haven’t seen those cartoons in such a long time.
@DrunkCat@Lynnerizer So everyone who uses AI is a loser? That is a pretty broad brush you are painting people with. Maybe that’s why you have no friends to drink with.
@Lynnerizer I’ve answered the question plenty if you wanna look through comment history. But between the plagiarism, the environmental impact and the literal brain rot it’s pretty much the only reasonable position.

I don’t drink alcohol and I’m intrigued… I do love my frozen non alcoholic drinks. The only turn off for me is that whatever I put in it is going to melt very fast, even the gel itself. It’s also going to perspire and leave a mess on my table. These days I’m better off just using my daily 3 wall tumbler that keeps stuff cold for up to 48 hours.
@brainmist@Lynnerizer@mehcuda67 I am sorry, I should have known! Especially since I am a Geeky Nerdy person! Please forgive me! I try not to do it again!
I’ve never understood “chill without diluting” products for booze like this one or whiskey stones. You don’t want any water from melting ice diluting the flavor… but you also want it ice cold so you can’t taste it? Just pick one or the other!
Silly question - If I am making cocktails, I almost never make just one, because it’s for a party. Does this have the cooling capacity to make more than one cocktail, or do you need one cooler for each cocktail?
(I think I know the answer, but just floating that question out there…)
@merichmond
Don’t you shake it to mix it well (because the other option is stirring) and also to chill it.
IDK anything about wanting a watered down cocktail, this alcoholic never wanted a watery drink!
The dilution introduced by shaking or stirring a cocktail with ice is essential to a well-balanced, correctly proportioned drink. Any bartender you showed this product to would laugh in your face before chucking it straight in the trash.
I got this thing to try out the built-in juicer. I figure if I want ice in the shaker, there’s actually no law that says I can’t. Plus, my hands might not get as cold as with a metal one.

@AaronLeeJohnson from a different T&J cartoon, but following today’s items theme

Why buy these when you can rot your brain even faster with “AI”?
@DrunkCat Because drinking with friends is much more fun. Maybe you should try it. A little bit of happiness might help you win them back.
@yakkoTDI k
@DrunkCat
I’m curious, WHY are you so obsessed with AI, and hating it so much?
@Lynnerizer Why do losers use “AI” in the first place? Life is a mystery.
@DrunkCat
I’m not sure, I’m not really versed on losers. Maybe YOU can answer that question too…
And WHY do you answer a question with a question, do you not even know WHY you’re so bothered by AI?
@DrunkCat @Lynnerizer So everyone who uses AI is a loser? That is a pretty broad brush you are painting people with. Maybe that’s why you have no friends to drink with.
@yakkoTDI deal with it
@Lynnerizer I’ve answered the question plenty if you wanna look through comment history. But between the plagiarism, the environmental impact and the literal brain rot it’s pretty much the only reasonable position.
@DrunkCat @but this is a stupid, stupid place to wage a campaign against it.
@but @haydesigner you could even say it’s meh
@DrunkCat
Deal with you having no friends to drink with? Ok. Not much to deal with much like your love life with them since you can 't win them back.
@yakkoTDI k
Why do I need to get one when I Don’t drink cocktails!
@mycya4me Homemade lemonade? I’m a bit tempted for that.

@mycya4me Cocktail shakers are great for getting Tang to actually dissolve without having to break out the power tools.
@brainmist @Lynnerizer @mycya4me Oh, don’t you start using reason and logic with us!
@brainmist @mehcuda67 @mycya4me
Hmmm, I’m starting to think your first comment/question was rhetorical.

I’ve been hurt before with freezable gel items.
@dpease Stop making people mad and they will stop throwing frozen gel items at you.
@dpease @yakkoTDI Or stop eating the gel.
WOW! Black: Rhum; Red: Whiskey; Blue: Vodka (OK or Gin)
Worth a try.

@brennyn Also the dilution is an important part of the recipe. This seems like a product by non-bartenders, for non-bartenders.

I’m thinking you just have to be quick!
Ackchyually, you DO want some dilution from ice whilst shaking cocktails.
What? No toothpick holder for the olives?
At least can you add a mortar and pestle?
A) cocktails are meant to be diluted, and B ) if you don’t want ice/water in your drink why would you bother shaking it?
@merichmond

Can’t you just add some ice for the benefit of water?
Would using these improve Gatorwine?
i need this plastic one to leave on the boat
