I Finally Did It… 1-Year Streak!!!
6For some reason, I have made getting a “1-year meh streak” one of my ADHD hyper-focuses over the years. Last year I got SO CLOSE (I think 340ish days) but went on vacation and had a slight time-zone accident, thus breaking my streak (and heart).
Well tonight, it finally happened!
Thanks meh!

So the rest of your life is now anticlimatic?.
@phendrick Unfortunately yes, this is far too accurate.
Congratulations on 1 year of streaking!
Now go put on some clothes.
@yakkoTDI NEVER. Well, I did recently order a meh long sleeve t-shirt… so maybe I’ll “Winnie The Pooh” for the next 365 days.
Congratulations! I keep getting tripped up by one thing or another so I know it’s hard to do.
Congratulations on your one year run a button clicks. Personally I think my best streak is two or three days. I’m way too easily sidetracked to do something like that consistently. I have a hard enough time remembering to eat breakfast every day…
@chienfou Thanks! Yes, I feel this for sure. It’s either all or nothing for me focus-wise. I can hyper-focus on the most ridiculous things (this is the PERFECT example) and then 5 minutes later have to check to make sure I locked the front door 4 times in a row since I am so easily distracted.
Once something completely abstract and monumentally unimportant is officially part of my daily routine though… that shizz is LOCKED in. ADHD FTW.
I hope your streak continues on!
Good job. On one hand, the resilience and consistency you demonstrate through this achievement reflects good character. On the other hand, you must realize how you’re gifting your personal, precious, finite time on Earth to a for-profit company, helping them with their business analytics without compensation, for the purpose of funsies.
My advice: end your streak today, on this milestone, having proven you can do it, and be free.
@806D2701 Damn, this is DEEP and a little too real. Well put! Does this mean I can stop tracking my calories too?!
