I notice there are no pictures of cats in this backpack. Three guesses for cat owners as to why, and the first two don’t count.

Ha! After going to Chewy and reading the reviews about it’s size and shape I put at least 3 like this one in my cart to decide on later. After all, Tuc needs to not only fit comfortably but he should ALWAYS have a picturesque view and you just can’t go wrong with something like that!
My niece trained my (normally inside) cat to walk on a leash with a harness. They love to adventure together.
She grabbed @puppycat (my kid) and Trouble (cat) and took them on a hike.
Someone had their 2 dogs off-leash, which caused mayhem. The kid had the cat’s leash and had to drop it for everyone’s safety. The cat booked it up a tall tree and was safe.
The dogs wandered back to their owner.
The problem was that neither the cat nor the humans could get him out of the tree. So she called me.
I grabbed my sister (who’s a rock climber), a ladder, and some snacks.
My sister was able to get to the cat, but not safely get him down, so they used a hoodie like a catch blanket and she dropped my poor cat about 15 feet into the hoodie. He landed perfectly and was not injured.
My niece learned several things that day.
Always brings snacks if you have a kid with you
People don’t leash their dogs
Just because the cat can get UP a tree, doesn’t mean he can get back down
@Thumperchick
Good story, lots of lessons learned that day too! Sounds like your sister could moonlight at the firehouse! That’s where I thought this story was going! Lol
@Lynnerizer@Thumperchick
Generally cats will find their way down from the tree at some point. However, having a leash attached does create an additional difficulty/danger though. This was definitely a case where rescuing them out of the tree was warranted. And yes, people with poorly trained dogs off leash are a PITA.
@chienfou@Lynnerizer@Thumperchick We had a foster cat who refused to be indoors-only, was WAY too athletic for his own good, and adored climbing trees until he scaled a tall pine behind the house. The bark on that one was a bit friable, and he got himself onto a perch about twelve feet up on the side that leaned out over the bayou so that the leap down was more like twenty, and that was onto a sharp slope with another ten to the bottom; not a good option regardless. The spot he was in apparently didn’t give him much purchase to go either up or around the trunk to get to the friendlier side, and he was stuck up there (howling pitifully) for more than a day until I found a long enough piece of lumber to create a bridge from his predicament point to the top of the back fence. It took him about two minutes to get across and back on the ground. I never saw him scale another tree after that.

Today’s AI movie parody is clearly 1996’s Multiplicity starring Bradley Cooper and his plastic surgeon.
@macphoenix Better than my guess. I could only think of Matrix + dogs in bags instead of Uzis.
@macphoenix Wait, is the dog the surgeon, or is Bradley Cooper the dog after plastic surgery?
For people who are too boosie for dog purses.
Is the black dog a puppy, or is the white dog an absolute unit of a chihuahua mix?
I’m in the market for a carrier for a 17 or 20 pound cat. The measurements sound okay, but these images do not really inspire confidence.
Big cat!
I’ll buy one to capture the local squirrels in. No one will suspect a thing.
I just bought one of these. My cat is going to fucking hate it.
