i think the short days f with me the most. that and it’s very cloudy here much of the winter. the cold and snow can be fun, i even camp in it! and snowy roads are fun for me unless i have to go on the highway
@cfg83 I’m not sure it works like that. My wife was raised right next door in eastern South Dakota (read: nasty cold snowy winters). Now she’s here in temperate NW Oregon and she still layers up and shivers in even moderately cool weather.
The worst part of Winter is having to bring my plants inside and cover the yard plants because I don’t always trust the Weathermen/Women in freezing forecast. It’s a lot of work in South Texas, but would rather not lose all my plants.
The dry air.
Yes. Is yes an option?
Because it’s dark, it’s cold, it’s dry.
/giphy I don’t wike it.

The dry heat, dry skin, and big, dried boogers.
The snow, especially on the roads.

It’s not summer

In LA winter is fine, so I have no complaints. My Mom was from Minnesota, so I am happy as a clam because of the anti-freeze blood she gave me.
/showme Norwegian treating winter in Los Angeles like it’s summer.
@cfg83 Here’s the image you requested for “Norwegian treating winter in Los Angeles like it s summer.”
@mediocrebot That is TOTALLY not right but I will take it.

Short sunny days are OK. But short dark days make me SAD.
