What did Meh think this was?
9@Roadie got this in an IRK. Nothing else was in the box, not even a IRK bag. Roadie checked the tracking number and it did indeed come from Carrollton, Texas, where Meh stuff comes from, so it’s not from IR(oc)K Auto. It’s obviously a truck wheel hub, but did Meh or SideDeal or Morning Save ever sell them?
So let’s hear your thoughts. What did Meh think this was that they would put it in an IRK? What would the Meh daily deal page for this look like? How did Meh end up with it? @pakopako surmised it was the “weirdest lazy Susan ever.” What do you think?

Sell it for scrap metal? Or sell to someone needing a fifth wheel?
Back in the old days people get used to get weird random s*** like this. I remember statues and all kinds of odd stuff
@Cerridwyn Yes and I approve.
Steampunk Incense/Candle Holder. Use to banish evil spirits from your garage.
It’s a serving tray for onion rings and dip.
@Limewater that might actually be interesting

@mediocrebot for the win!
Oh boy, looks like someone is getting the rest of the truck in their IRK
@Ignorant Piece by piece, no doubt.
@Ignorant @ItalianScallion
Reminds me of a classic song!
I believe what you are supposed to do with this device is stack donuts on the outer pegs and fill the middle with melted chocolate for dipping. Enjoy!
@Ignorant I thought donuts too. Or bagels and cream cheese.
@Kyeh oh yeah of course bagels would work as well. They are just bizarro world donuts after all.
@Ignorant I’m willing to try that with my favorite Boston cream donuts, but I think it will make quite a mess.

Not bad, but I’ll give it one more try…

Make 8 legs out of pipe iron or galvanized tubing, bolt them onto the hub and decorate it as a steampunk spider. (Maybe attach a clear plexiglass table to it if you want to make it practical).

@mediocrebot Actually lik this a littele better than what I envisioned. Mine would have looked like a daddy-long-legs.
@mediocrebot @mehcuda67 Pretty good, but it looks like the bot inserts extra limbs for non-human subjects, too.
I’d backtrack the item to find the part number, see if it’s actually complete, and then list it on eBay for about half of the current market price.
Let’s see what Mediocrebot can come up with for @pakopako’s idea…
/showme a truck wheel hub on a dining table with a small plate of food on top of each lug bolt
oh shit. was wondering where that went.
@jouest Spare rear hub for your one-ton dually Smart Car?
@jouest @werehatrack Nah. Citicar:
Or maybe a Freeway:
I think gummy rings would look splendid the other choice for me would be a decorative plant display
Sorry, I don’t have a funny response at all, but when I look at that I can’t help wondering how much it costs to ship it.
Is that why IRKs are $50 now?
@xobzoo the regret works both ways
Seriously though what’s the story behind it getting sent? What is this thing’s provenance?
@edsa @Thumperchick is trying to find out:
https://meh.com/forum/topics/sidedeal-a-rama-irk-reveal-thread#685eba0e4fcf426efa713ba8
@edsa @Kyeh
Yep! After a little investigating, I was right. We’re working with FedEx and will get @Roadie their Instant Regret Kit.
@edsa @Kyeh @Roadie @Thumperchick it was good for entertainment if nothing else right?
@Cerridwyn @edsa @Kyeh @Thumperchick And we gave @Roadie some ideas on what to do with it! (unless Meh wants it back to repair their truck?)
@Cerridwyn @edsa @ItalianScallion @Kyeh @Thumperchick The package that I received had a relabel sticker over the original label. I peeled off the relabel and the original label underneath had the intended recipient of the wheel hub.
I contacted FedEx to pick up the wheel hub and deliver it to the correct recipient. FedEx didn’t show up for 3 days, so I contacted the real recipient directly (his phone number was on the label). We met up and I handed him his wheel hub directly, then asked FedEx to close the ticket.
My original tracking number for my IRK has had no progress yet. If it doesn’t move by tomorrow, I’ll reach out to TC, who said she’d send out a replacement if it didn’t get moving.
@Cerridwyn @edsa @Kyeh @Thumperchick What nice guy you are, @Roadie!
@Roadie - You’re a good Mehtizen.
@Roadie @Thumperchick Yep! He deserves a MEGA IRK!! (if there is such a thing)
. If not, create one for him just for being a top-notch fella!
@MrGoodGuy If a MEGA IRK is anything like the pasta drops, I’d be afraid. I got one of my friends with 80lbs of spaghetti (in which 70lbs of it went to their nearest food pantry).
@Cerridwyn @edsa @ItalianScallion @Thumperchick I’m still puzzled - was the hub sent by Meh? Or was it all FedEx just scrambling it up? Also,@Roadie - did the intended recipient get your Irk box?
@Kyeh - FedEx slapped a Meh label on a box that did not come from us.
@Thumperchick Oh, okay. Thanks!
